February 2025 and always better, carnival desserts all excellent. A thousand thanks
Visited again Feb 2024 and better and better. Amazing strufoli.. Thanks and good work.
Ok...the wrong place if you want to avoid sweet surprises...visited Mardi Gras and I truly ate the best strufoli I've tasted so far, soft and wonderful soaked in alchermes (a typical sweet and aromatic bright red liqueur), frappe, also called "chiacchiere", thin and crumbly and finally the castagnole or "brighelle" with chantilly cream, which are madness!!!!, the price is average but the quality is superior to everything. The sales assistants are very nice.
My sweet palate thanks you.
Thanks and good work.

Basically the pastries and everything savory, with exceptions, are an explosion of flavors with the right sugar that lets you feel every single taste of the fresh and genuine products! I ate on site and even took the desserts with me in Rome. Excellent! The staff is also very kind and very attentive to aspects. I will definitely be back!

I'm waiting for the carnival to be able to eat the best brighelle in Perugia even if I couldn't eat them but the carnival comes once a year, the torcolo and the rest of the pastries are also excellent, I love you but in moderation given my blood sugar levels fluctuate.
Brighelle here I come.

To start the review, I quote the words of my Brazilian girlfriend: "It's the best Nutella croissant I've ever eaten in Italy, it's well filled and sweet." Try it to believe it.
Obviously there are not only croissants. I lived many years in Monteluce, and for me and my family this pastry shop still remains a point of reference. They make all kinds of pastries, with chocolate and cream being my favourites; tasty sandwiches (when we went to school, my brother took the one with raw ham as a snack, I loved it with tuna and artichokes); desserts for every occasion, such as the torcolo di San Costanzo which has won several competitions. In short, if you pass by Monteluce you know where you can stop 🤗

A point of reference for those who want to taste the typical Perugia pastries (struffoli, torcoli, brighelle etc etc), this place stands out for the production of desserts, but also bread. It is also possible to stop for an aperitif, a savory snack or breakfast. And they are all exceptional. Obviously you are always welcomed with great courtesy.
The only point to make about the place is the lack of parking, and an entrance that is not easy for disabled people. Highly recommended
