Antica Pasticceria SAN Marco In Verona

The ancient San Marco pastry shop is a guarantee. The service is impeccable and the desserts... You won't find even a bad one. The brioches are sublime, the miniatures are the same. If we want to say a negative thing (but for me it isn't) the prices are a little above the norm, but I prefer to give them to a place like this rather than find frozen croissants. Top!

Posto carino, dolci sempre buoni. Unico neo: la cassiera sempre con un feroce ghigno arrabbiato, mai un sorriso. Sgradevole. E’ proprio uno standard. Forse il contatto col pubblico non è nelle sue corde.

In a quiet, well-kept and comfortable environment, with an elegant internal room and a large covered area, the Antica Pasticceria San Marco welcomes you with its wide choice of cakes and pastries of all kinds. The jewel in the crown are the cakes, especially the strawberry and chocolate mousse, the Sacher and the amazing Black Forest. Consumption on site, take away, preparation to order. Also an excellent meeting place for breakfast with croissants, donuts and desserts for all tastes. Or in the afternoon for a tea or a hot chocolate in the winter or a cold coffee mousse when the good weather begins. The staff is kind and pleasant. My pastry shop. Highly recommended!! I haven't found one of the girls who serve who welcomed them with a smile or a good morning and when that is missing, everything is missing

We had breakfast two mornings, excellent coffee and small pastries for only around €3 (tiramisu, fruit tart, sacher and zeppola). Since it was Easter/Easter Monday they were selling off the doves at half price so we bought one and were sure it would be delicious! 3 stars for the service because the ladies at the counter are not very friendly.

Grumpy and not very empathetic staff... It's a shame because the coffee is good and the desserts too...
