Antica Osteria Tiro a Segno In Scurcola marsicana

I tend to be really conservative with my ratings, but this one deserves a shoutout. Authentic Italian cuisine with lots of options. Superb experience.

After passing this restaurant for a long time, we decided to try it. It didn't disappoint: excellent cuisine with unconventional dishes, a good appetizer featuring local products, two excellent first courses, ricotta and walnut ravioli with grated black truffle, and tagliolini with black garlic, bottarga, and lemon zest. For the second course, grilled lamb, but what surprised us with its flavor was the scamorza cheese with pears, hazelnuts, and honey, truly delicious. For the side dish, Roman-style artichokes. We finished with two coffees and a homemade gentian. Don't be like me and wait too long; if you're in the area, I highly recommend it!

A gastronomic experience with meticulous attention to detail We dined at the Tiro a Segno restaurant in Avezzano and were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail and quality of the dishes. To begin, we decided to share two first courses to sample both: a fragrant and creamy porcini mushroom and saffron risotto, and a truffle chitarrina, intense and enveloping. The service carefully managed the division, serving each person their own portion, a gesture that demonstrates great customer care. For the second course, I chose a baked eggplant millefeuille: surprisingly light, with crispy and delicate eggplant, perfectly balanced. The side dishes were of excellent quality, prepared with fresh and well-presented ingredients. The dessert also confirmed the excellence of the cuisine: delicious, balanced, and the perfect end to a truly enjoyable dinner. 📍 A welcoming atmosphere, attentive service, and cuisine that elegantly enhances flavors.
