Known this place thanks to the 4 restaurants program of which they are the winners, the restaurant fully met our expectations. Starter: “Toc in braida” delicate and tasty. First: very good gnocchi with meat sauce. Second course: salmì of deer with SPAZIALE polenta. Tasty, quality meat, tender that melted in your mouth. A rustic and typically mountain restaurant, with a warm and authentic atmosphere that makes you feel immediately immersed in local tradition. The dishes are really good, prepared with genuine ingredients and with special attention to local cuisine. The staff are friendly, but unfortunately the service was a bit slow: we had to wait a long time to order drinks as soon as we sat down. However, the wait was repaid by the quality of the food, which is absolutely recommended. A place that is definitely worth a visit for those who love authentic mountain flavours.

In recent years I have been to eat at Stella D'oro several times and every time I left the place satisfied and happy. The restaurant is historic in style, there is a cave-style room, there is a fireplace and there is all that magical atmosphere of the past. We went for lunch today with my partner and daughter. We had a really good time, ate and drank very well, traditional Carnic dishes with a hint of gourmet! The food is very good and the environment is also welcoming. The only thing I didn't like, and this is the reason for the 4 out of 5 stars in the service, is that in the pork cheek dish there is polenta which is not listed on the menu.

Capable, attentive staff, the owner was very accommodating and allowed us to drink a glass of good wine in the company of friends, even though it was closing time and she was visibly tired. Strepitosi il posto con interni molto accoglienti e pittoresti, la cucina con piatti della Carnia super curati e gustosi e l'accoglienza da parte dei gestori/collaboratori! Che dire..da tornarci!

Ho cenato in questo piccolo ristorante perché mi avevano detto che preparavano dei cjarsons eccezionali Le mie aspettative erano alte e devo dire che non sono state deluse Oltre al meraviglioso primo piatto ho preso il goulash di cinghiale con polenta di grano saraceno (leggerissima) e una panna cotta al polline (il gestore mi spiegava che sono anche apicultori) con frutti di bosco, davvero deliziosa Ottimo anche il merlot della casa Offerto un liquore stupendo che non conoscevo, un Ratafia’ abruzzese di cui ci e’ stata narrata l’origine storica La location e’ molto carina (all’interno anche un autentico fogolar friulano) e non molti tavoli in giardino che in quest’estate torrida ci hanno regalato una serata collinare finalmente fresca!! Davvero una serata incantevole
