Humid and foggy early spring day, out with friends and warmed by the welcome of the staff and the owner of the place.
The original fogolar Friulian with benches around the fire in the center of the room is beautiful.
Interesting menu with balanced flavor combinations: among the appetizers we particularly appreciated the salted speck and the pumpkin flan, among the first courses the cjarsons with herbs then buckwheat blecs with puntarelle and sausage all good, among the second courses the beef cheek reigns supreme, excellent desserts only the strudel not up to par. Interesting wine list.
Congratulations especially because keeping open places that offer quality at the highest levels in peripheral and relatively populated areas requires great professionalism and experience.

Known this place thanks to the 4 restaurants program of which they are the winners, the restaurant fully met our expectations. Starter: “Toc in braida” delicate and tasty. First: very good gnocchi with meat sauce. Second course: salmì of deer with SPAZIALE polenta. Tasty, quality meat, tender that melted in your mouth.
With the coffee we were brought a chocolate made of polenta flour and white chocolate with a spectacular combination. Compliments

A rustic and typically mountain restaurant, with a warm and authentic atmosphere that makes you feel immediately immersed in local tradition. The dishes are really good, prepared with genuine ingredients and with special attention to local cuisine.
The staff are friendly, but unfortunately the service was a bit slow: we had to wait a long time to order drinks as soon as we sat down. However, the wait was repaid by the quality of the food, which is absolutely recommended.
A place that is definitely worth a visit for those who love authentic mountain flavours.

In recent years I have been to eat at Stella D'oro several times and every time I left the place satisfied and happy. The restaurant is historic in style, there is a cave-style room, there is a fireplace and there is all that magical atmosphere of the past. Highest quality raw materials, traditional cuisine with a few leaps into the future. High quality wine and impeccable service. You will be pampered with delicacy and simplicity. Abbiamo prenotato per le 19,siamo arrivati 15 minuti prima e siamo stati ammoniti..eravamo a piano terra,la stanza bruttina ,vecchia e trascurata.I piatti buoni ma veramente miseri..avrò avuto 13 gnocchi nel piatto! Per non parlare del frico: 4 bocconi.. In compenso il conto e' stato abbondante..non ci torneremo.

Ottimo, cucina friulana di tradizione ma con grande competenza e aggiornamento. Vale la pena di andare e poi passeggiata all'Art Park per completare una giornata di degustazione di cose belle e buone
