Antica Osteria Rugantino In Roma

One of the most delicious meals we had in Rome. Our waiter Eduardo was exceptional and made our lunch so pleasant with so much charisma and excellent recommendations. Highly recommend!!

One of the few places that isn't a tourist in Rome. The food is excellent, the portions are generous, the choice is wide. The prices are fair. The staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is nice and welcoming, with a tavern downstairs. The place is also located in a nice and lively area. I absolutely recommend it!

Restaurant located in Trastevere, at the beginning of the street, quiet location, good service with Roman vibes, very homely, amazing dishes, from all the first courses, to the meatballs, really special. When I return to Rome I will definitely go back.

We came across it by chance because we had to take some of our dear Sardinian friends to a typical Roman restaurant. Searching on the internet we came across this typical Roman Osteria....Even though we are from Rome we had never had the pleasure of tasting their dishes and what was even more appreciated by our friends was that the manager is also Sardinian and, therefore, they immediately felt at home. The manager, but also the waiters, kind, friendly and above all "empathetic" person. What can we say about the food? We were amazed by the goodness, it is not always easy to find excellent food in a super touristy place...here in addition to the goodness also the quantities were excellent and abundant....the very characteristic place, then, made everything much more "appetizing" our good lunch ☺ Congratulations indeed!!!

Il Rugantino, locato all'ingresso di Trastevere, sulla strada che porta alla Basilica, mantiene anche questa volta i suoi buoni standard. Primi o secondi sempre molto buoni. Raccomando però la prenotazione, altrimenti è possibile che possiate sedere ma avere un orario per andare via perché il tavolo è prenotato ma il personale riesce a farvi mangiare sul momento.
