I had dinner with a friend and we chose the quattrini primi option to share.
Excellent choice; we had carbonara, amatriciana, cacio e pepe, and Rugantino pasta with chicory and guanciale.
Everything was delicious, and we also had a bottle of red wine.
Plus, the wine was excellent, and they even gave us a free half bottle of their own red wine.
When I return to Rome, I'll definitely eat here again.

In a peaceful atmosphere, I was able to taste dried meat and egg and zucchini cake for the first time. The waiter, Édouard, is really friendly! 🌟 A truly cheerful and bright person!
I chose the rugantino for my second course. I'm sure I'll have fond memories of it too!
The restaurant's decor is also really nice! I highly recommend it!

Very nice quiet spot with amazing pasta. Try the 4 pasta platter, the 2 of us couldn’t finish it but all 4 were amazing! Great cheese plate as well.

A little tour of Rome with my mom. We were staying in Trastevere, and every time we passed this osteria we said to ourselves, "Next time we'll go in!" Well... thank goodness we did!
Textbook carbonara and amatriciana, meatballs that seemed like grandma made them (the good one), delicious side dishes... basically, we were happy to mop up the sauce.
Regarding wine: as a wine enthusiast, I can confirm that the cellar is a little marvel. Serious stuff, but without showing off.
And then the service! The girl who served us was so friendly and welcoming that we'd give her a 10 just for her smile. We'd go back just for her!
In short, full stomachs, happy hearts. See you next time, osteria of the heart! 💛🍝🍷

A beautiful, historic restaurant in Trastevere, where we booked for fear of not getting a table, given its fame. In fact, there were some free tables, and then I understood why: unfortunately, the food didn't meet our expectations. We ordered a selection of four first courses, of which we enjoyed the house fettuccine. The other three first courses, however, were disappointing: the pasta was generally too undercooked, rather than al dente, the amatriciana sauce was flavorless, the cacio e pepe tasted like homemade pasta with butter, and the carbonara was too salty for my taste.
On the other hand, the location is beautiful, especially the charming interior rooms, and the staff are helpful and welcoming. It's a shame about the food.
