The history of the place begins in 1470, when Marco da Polpet received permission to open an inn – hospitia – in San Boldo. We were not present at the opening, but we were lucky enough to have dinner at this place a week ago.
Smiling, patient service, patient explanation of the dishes, and then a very delicious dinner in the end.
The quality of the food, the flavors, the wines… Everything was very delicious.
The place is absolutely recommended.

A very beautiful and quaint place, the food was good, although the venison stew was a little stringy. The house wine and desserts deserve special mention.

I was thinking more of a tavern. I was there in April, and I expected less special dishes and larger portions.
Two first courses, two beers, and two coffees for over €60.
