With his right hand he slices with a sword and with his left he spreads salts that have been gathered from around the earth. I would fly here from the US for dinner every night if I could afford it.

We chose the restaurant on Google Maps based on a hunch, based on photos found online, and we were completely satisfied. The atmosphere is welcoming, the rustic dining room dominated by a large, always-lit central fireplace, where various cuts of meat are cooked to perfection. The sliced steak with mixed vegetables was pure deliciousness, and the accompanying wine was expertly and professionally recommended. We returned a week later, and it was a great confirmation. Not only are the meats excellent, but so are the appetizers, first courses, and desserts. A fantastic experience; we had a wonderful time and hope to return soon.

This is a magical place for those who like to experience their meal rather than simply eat. The dining area is inviting, and there something very special about watching your steak prepared in the wood burning fireplace. The pasta primi were delicious and the meat perfectly prepared and incredibly flavorful. Yes, you can find less costly meals but we paid a fraction of what we would pay in other cities for a meal and experience that was much, much nicer. Highly recommended

Small restaurant with an excellent choice of meats from different origins cooked with skill directly in the fireplace of the main room. Excellent appetizers, as well as side dishes and desserts. No wine list, to choose you have to go into a room and choose from the shelf... a somewhat inconvenient and dispersive method. The cost of prosecco is a bit high especially considering the area. The price of Florentine cut meat is about 7-8 euros per 100 grams while for the slices it is about 50/60 (per piece about 6-70 grams). The place is definitely not the cheapest but the meat is very good. To improve price transparency, perhaps the weight of the piece of meat purchased could be shown instead of showing a generic 1 kg or 1 and a half kg. An excellent experience in any case and one to be repeated for sure!

Ottimo cibo ma prezzo esagerato per una locanda basic che non offre nulla di speciale.
Abbiamo mangiato e bevuto bene, tuttavia, il prezzo è stato troppo caro considerato che la proposta non ha nulla di particolare.
Il titolare ci ha “proposto” di lasciarlo fare, ci siamo fidati e al momento del conto siamo rimasti un po’ delusi.
