Antica Osteria Delle Volte In Ferrara

I went to CEI for the first time yesterday. I had a great time and ate well.

Very good, five-star cappelletti in broth. I recommend it for a weekend lunch. The atmosphere is casual, but overall, it's truly satisfying!

Fantastic food, lovely service. Also a great location to combine dinner with walking the Via delle Volte.

We had dinner here the night we spent in Ferrara. We chose it out of many because the menu really inspired us. And in fact, I ate things I almost never eat. A very nice and well-kept place, with a majestic beam spanning the room. The staff were kind and friendly, explaining the dishes to us and spending time with us. The menu is very interesting (obviously, coming from an Italian area where certain things aren't eaten). I had a game platter with pinzini (fried bread balls), which easily fed two people, and a mix of cheeses accompanied by jams. Followed by truffle tortellini with shavings of bianchetto truffle and pappardelle with white duck ragù. The cured meats were really good, and imagine the bacon melting as soon as it's placed on the still-warm pinzini (my mouth is watering again). I drizzled the cheeses with delicious jams. Let's get to the tortellini, which you could say were devastating, ha ha ha ha ha. Excellent, beautifully seasoned and filled, well-cooked tortellini, with the pasta still firm and a good creamy sauce. A truly good dish, not suitable for dieters. The pappardelle were good and well-seasoned, I barely managed to taste them because they were very cheesy, but they were said to be very good. 2 Cokes, water, and bitter coffee, more than fair price. I really liked this place, and I highly recommend it.

From tortelli with pumpkin to salami, fillet and side dish, everything was truly exceptional. The service was fast and very friendly, the girl who took the orders was nice. We will definitely be back, I have already recommended it to friends.

A beautiful, characteristic restaurant in the old town. Excellent food, ranging from traditional Ferrara fare to more unusual dishes featuring truffles or mushrooms. The staff is always very friendly and professional. I highly recommend it.

Scoperto per caso, passeggiando in via delle volte, questo ristorantino è stato una piacevole scoperta. Molto curato sia all'interno che all'esterno (di cui pubblico una foto suggestiva). Ci ha accolto personale giovane, preparato e cordiale; piatti della tradizione ferrarese molto buoni e genuini, porzioni abbondanti e ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Cappellacci alla zucca con ragù da provare perché sono da 10 e lode.

Cena in famiglia, personale disponibile e servizio rapido. Sia l'antipasto che i primi hanno rispettato le aspettative, sicuramente consigliato.
