A unique experience! In the middle of our tour of Valpolicella, we decided to follow the advice of two friends and try the osteria's cuisine. We were extremely satisfied. The owner, who divides his time between cooking and serving, is passionate and knowledgeable. The dishes are delicious. The Gorgonzola semifreddo is highly recommended, the icing on the cake of an authentic dinner. Highly recommended.

Excellent restaurant near Marano di Valpolicella. Interesting menu featuring some of their specialties, such as their tastasal chicken risotto (highly recommended). Excellent selection of local wines, both by the bottle and by the glass. Reasonable prices. The restaurant owner's kindness and helpfulness are unforgettable! We'll definitely be back!

Alberto is the perfect host; his osteria is a rare gem and the best osteria in Valpolicella. What makes the difference are the quality ingredients and the passion they put into making them. From the menu to the location, nothing is left to chance. More than a lunch or dinner, I'd call it an experience you absolutely must have. And by the way, if you want to taste excellent wines from local producers, you're in the right place. Excellent wine cellar!

I must say I'd never been to this little gem of Valpolicella, located in the beautiful village of San Rocco, which offers a wonderful view of Verona. I knew about this restaurant but had never dined here: the opportunity presented itself, and I must admit it was very pleasant... Unconventional dishes, good wine, and truly attentive and punctual service from the owner. I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend the Gorgonzola semifreddo with honey and walnuts!

We ate at several places in the area, so unfortunately, I have to give the quality, taste, and atmosphere only 3 stars compared to other places. On Friday evening, the restaurant was empty, the waiter/owner didn't pay much attention to us, and the food was mediocre. He recommended an egg dish for a starter, but it turned out to be just a fried egg with no particular flavor. The quail main course had a bitter taste of black ash, as if it came from a grill that hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The grilled meat was tough and not very flavorful. The vegetable side dish consisted of carrots and peas, which had no flavor and seemed microwaved. A shame, but not a very pleasant experience.

On vacation for a few days in the Molina area, we were looking for a quiet place where we could taste typical dishes. The Osteria was a nice discovery, we were able to enjoy an excellent dinner accompanied by an equally high level of service. We ate typical dishes of the area and with ingredients from local producers. The risotto with tastasal was delicious, but made with chicken meat, different from the classic pork that I had already tasted. The cellar is well stocked with local and non-local wines, and of high quality. The owner was very kind and very knowledgeable in recommending wines to pair with the dishes, and in suggesting that we add truffles from the area to the dishes. We had a chat and he recommended another excellent place in the area for dinner the next day because they were closed. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Excellent tavern in the hills above Marano. The place is small but well-kept. The host spends time explaining the various dishes available. The portions are adequate, not too small or too large. All well-kept and with excellent flavor.
