The many kilometers we traveled from Genoa to get there were worth it; we ate and drank very well.
Simple dishes, but expertly prepared! The owner was kind and recommended his dishes and good wine.
The place is beautiful and quaint, and we'll definitely be back.
I recommend it.

A unique experience!
In the middle of our tour of Valpolicella, we decided to follow the advice of two friends and try the osteria's cuisine. We were extremely satisfied. The owner, who divides his time between cooking and serving, is passionate and knowledgeable. The dishes are delicious. The Gorgonzola semifreddo is highly recommended, the icing on the cake of an authentic dinner. Highly recommended.

I ate there for the first time a few days ago...simply my ideal of an osteria, rustic but refined in its flavours, excellent food and atmosphere, a much-appreciated jazz background that was never annoying, attentive service that was always perfectly timed; compliments to Alberto, fantastic.

It's an old place, but that's the beauty of it. Welcoming, relaxed! Friendly, pleasant, and attentive service.
Delicious food! Polenta with soppressata and risotto with chicken ragù, the house specialty. I recommend it.

Excellent restaurant near Marano di Valpolicella. Interesting menu featuring some of their specialties, such as their tastasal chicken risotto (highly recommended). Excellent selection of local wines, both by the bottle and by the glass. Reasonable prices. The restaurant owner's kindness and helpfulness are unforgettable! We'll definitely be back!

Alberto is the perfect host; his osteria is a rare gem and the best osteria in Valpolicella.
What makes the difference are the quality ingredients and the passion they put into making them. From the menu to the location, nothing is left to chance. More than a lunch or dinner, I'd call it an experience you absolutely must have. And by the way, if you want to taste excellent wines from local producers, you're in the right place. Excellent wine cellar!

I must say I'd never been to this little gem of Valpolicella, located in the beautiful village of San Rocco, which offers a wonderful view of Verona.
I knew about this restaurant but had never dined here: the opportunity presented itself, and I must admit it was very pleasant...
Unconventional dishes, good wine, and truly attentive and punctual service from the owner. I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend the Gorgonzola semifreddo with honey and walnuts!
