It was a more than pleasant experience, the owner knows how to guide customers to discover the flavors offered, the dishes are rich in taste. We reached the top with the blue cheese semifreddo with walnuts and honey: an explosion of flavors and smells on the palate!
We will absolutely return if we are in the area again.

Courteous and pleasant welcome accompanied by an offered tasting of Soave. Short but thoughtful menu, excellent risotto with chicken ragù (it has a precise name with a reinterpretation by the chef, but I don't remember!), delicious amarone beef accompanied by a pumpkin cream. The owner is a perfect host in a relaxing and well-kept environment. Do not underestimate the welcome for our dog. Thanks for the evening. Elena, Elena and Uva from Umbria.

Small, characteristic and welcoming tavern, with a knowledgeable owner who welcomes you with two glasses of wine and a small tasting. Very good traditional menu, we will definitely be back to eat more of the excellent bigoli with duck ragout. Highly recommended!

Historic tavern in the hamlet of San Rocco in the municipality of Marano di Valpolicella. Excellent food and refined and particular dishes such as tastasal risotto with chicken ragout from Lessinia. The menu changes according to the season and has few but very good dishes. A vast choice of local wines completes everything.

Osteria storica nella frazione di San Rocco nel comune di Marano di Valpolicella. Cibo ottimo e piatti ricercati e particolari come il risotto al tastasal con ragù di gallina della Lessinia. Il menù cambia in base alla stagione e ha pochi piatti ma molto azzeccati. Una vasta scelta di vini del territorio completa il tutto.

Excellent food, enjoyed with good wines, the attentive owner explains each course and glass with passion and dedication.
Excellent starter with eggs, Monte Veronese and truffles, and delicious bigoli with sardines. A big note goes to the desserts, all homemade and very special.
