We had dinner on Saturday evening in this restaurant discovered by chance reading a post on Facebook. It is a very pleasant environment, much nicer inside than you might imagine looking at the outside. Everything is taken care of to take the guest on a journey into ancient Ligurian traditions, from the meanings of the Ligurian surnames hanging on the walls to the explanations on the menu on the origins of the dishes. A simple but elegant device provides the backdrop
for 85 euros, a price that is very appropriate for the quality and service offered. Well done.

It is not my habit to write great reviews but this evening, finding myself in La Spezia for work or selecting this Antica Trattoria and on impulse, still sitting at the table, I must say simply highly recommended! Score 10 in all categories. Congratulations indeed!

Per quello che abbiamo avuto modo di mangiare noi, ossia un antipasto misto e 2 cappon magri, non abbiamo mangiato male, ma abbiamo trovato che nel cappon magro mancasse un po’ di spinta e quindi era insipido e la rana cotta troppo ( per i nostri gusti ovviamente) per quanto riguarda invece l’antipasto, le seppie erano squisite, ma il tonno, mentre uno era cotto al punto giusto e quindi squisito, l’altro era al limite del troppo cotto. Per questi motivi e il rapporto qualità prezzo, la nostra esperienza è stata buona. Ottima la carta dei vini e la professionalità del personale.

Amazing traditional food of the region. Not just the typical ‘carbonara’ or ‘margarita’ as many restaurants offer. Staff offered great wine and drinks advice too. Highly recommend

We discovered this restaurant while walking around La Spezia.
Very nice environment with attention to detail with many local historical objects.
We ate several fish dishes to fully enjoy traditional Ligurian cuisine, particularly La Spezia.
Starters, first and second courses all truly delicious!
The recommended local wines also paired perfectly with what we ate.
The staff, whom we salute, is very friendly and helpful.
A place where you really feel good and feel at home.
We loved it so much that we returned the next evening to try other dishes!

Menù ricercato e sempre in continua evoluzione. Siamo stati per l'ultimo dell'anno e ci ha colpito in particolare il polpo alla ligure gratinato però in forno con uvetta e pinoli.

Veramente una graditissima sorpresa, piatti locali (non per turisti) di ottima qualità con un rapporto qualità/prezzo che vale il conto pagato. Vini (ho guardato solo i rossi) anche questi della zona e devo dire che quello provato (di cui purtroppo non ricordo il nome) mi ha soddisfatto pienamente, anche le bottiglie di vino a prezzi “umani”. Ci tornerò sicuramente la prima sera che sarò a La Spezia. Locale non molto grande ma chi sta leggendo non dovrà fare altro che prenotare.
