The dishes were good, well-presented, and the flavors were spot on. We enjoyed our meal; there were no complaints about the taste.
The service was also very good: welcoming, professional, and pleasant throughout the meal.
However, the portions were really small. We were left a little hungry, which is a shame considering the price. €70 for two people for this quantity seems excessive for what was served. Furthermore, I should add that they charge for tap water and €3 per person for cutlery.
Overall, a good experience, but the quality/quantity/price ratio could be improved.

An excellent experience at a historic osteria in La Spezia. Traditional Ligurian dishes, including gluten-free options, are all carefully prepared and very flavorful. The tagliolini alla camalla, the cappon magro, and the sbira, an ancient recipe revisited, were delicious.
We paired everything with a Vermentino from Cantine Boriassi, a perfect pairing.
Excellent desserts, especially panera and sacripantina.
Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere.
Highly recommended: high quality and excellent gluten-free options.

It's a traditional Ligurian restaurant.
Here, the flavors are rich and the staff is friendly.

Pure tradition and surprising discoveries: an unforgettable experience
It's not often you find a restaurant capable of combining exquisite courtesy with such profound culinary offerings. Here, regional tradition isn't just a label, but an incredible research into ancient recipes, brought to the present with elegance and respect.
The service was impeccable: the staff were knowledgeable, smiling, and capable of conveying their love for their region.
But the real star was the food. I chose to try a dish that was completely new to me, and the sensory journey was unique:
The first taste almost disoriented me: a taste I'd never experienced before, complex and profound.
The second taste surprised me: the nuances began to reveal themselves, conquering my palate.
The last taste? What a shame it was already gone!
A rare place, where history is eaten and the hospitality makes you feel at home. Highly recommended!

Great and friendly service and overall good price/quality ratio. Ravioli with pesto were good. Snails were less than average. The dessert was simple but tasty. Overall I would not bring here my wife for what I call a great taste experience. I think it fits well the modern idea of osteria i.e. eat and drink overall well not more not less.
