The dishes were good. The restaurant and its location were very nice. Parking was easy to reach. Average prices. Reservations recommended. The interior was well-kept. The open kitchen is beautiful as soon as you enter the restaurant. The wine selection was good.

Excellent lunch al fresco among the foliage. Carefully prepared, high-quality dishes. I'll definitely be back. The wine list isn't extensive, but it has everything you need.

Unfortunately I have to review a place that I have always liked for its location, service and food, but the prices in my opinion have risen quite a bit. I understand the general increase in supply costs etc but the final consumer is the one who pays for all this. With great regret I reject this place that I love, at least until they reduce the prices..

Good food and beautiful location, shame about the service with the very hasty manners of two people (the other girls were very kind and courteous). I doubt they work shifts, so I could not explain the impatience and haste with which they treated us. Very good wine list, perhaps the prices a little high, knowing how much the wines are sold for in the cellar and making the necessary proportions of mark-up.

Just a few words are enough to describe this place, sublime view (in summer there is a nice breeze) excellent service, quality raw materials, on the advice of a friend I went to eat the raw Florentine steak cut very thinly into carpaccio, delicious beyond words, I would never have imagined I could eat such good raw meat!!!!! Obviously the prices are a bit high but they are justified by the quality of the dishes Compliments

04/09/2025: Restaurant in the courtyard of palazzi maffei museum. Very nice outside dining with beautifully laid out tables. Very nice choices of food, all just a bit different from the standard italian dishes but still very italian. Wonderful dinner with beautiful subtle taste ( we chose mainly fish dishes). Definitely a place to relax enjoy your meal and the atmosphere as well as the art on the plate.

The staff strikes the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth, making you feel immediately at home. And then the tiramisu… a dream of lightness and flavor, so perfectly balanced that we can say without hesitation: this is the best we have ever tasted. An evening at Maffei is an ode to Italian cuisine, where passion and craftsmanship intertwine in every bite. An unforgettable experience, and a true must for anyone visiting Verona.

Antica Osteria della Valpolicella

06/09/2025: Excellent restaurant near Marano di Valpolicella. Interesting menu featuring some of their specialties, such as their tastasal chicken risotto (highly recommended). Excellent selection of local wines, both by the bottle and by the glass. Reasonable prices. The restaurant owner's kindness and helpfulness are unforgettable! We'll definitely be back!
10/08/2025: Alberto is the perfect host; his osteria is a rare gem and the best osteria in Valpolicella. What makes the difference are the quality ingredients and the passion they put into making them. From the menu to the location, nothing is left to chance. More than a lunch or dinner, I'd call it an experience you absolutely must have. And by the way, if you want to taste excellent wines from local producers, you're in the right place. Excellent wine cellar!
