Nice location (it looks better on Instagram), welcoming staff (I think that's the minimum). Good traditional dishes. Antica Ostaria in name only, because the final bill is that of a mid-to-high-end restaurant, and honestly, considering the whole setting... it's absolutely not worth it.

Impeccable Masterful Exemplary Prestigious Exquisite Divine These words come close to describing the experience we had last night, but they don't quite measure up to this dinner, because Il Barco surpasses all these adjectives, by far!!! EXCELLENCE in every way!!! There aren't enough words to describe this MAGNIFICENT PLACE!!!

A Hidden Gem in the Hills of Lavagno We had a fantastic dining experience at Antica Ostaria de Barco. The setting is beautiful — nestled in the hills with lovely views and a cozy, rustic atmosphere. The food was exceptional: we tried the bigoli al cinghiale and grilled meats, all perfectly cooked and full of flavor.

19/11/2025: Excellent place for a quick break but also to seek out authentic products, not just baked goods. Weekday lunch service is very busy but fast and friendly. As always, I try the tartare, which satisfies my appetite; I wash it all down with a beer, even though we're in a red wine area. I finish with two excellent espressos, one after the other, with cream puffs to accompany them. What can I say? Everything is beautiful, welcoming, bright, and friendly. I'll be back and will definitely recommend them to friends and clients. Efficient.
24/10/2025: Excellent place for coffee, aperitifs, or lunch breaks. Very welcoming and friendly staff, excellent baked goods, and reasonable prices. We had a birthday aperitif, and they served a variety of appetizers with our drinks, which were really good and plentiful!

16/11/2025: A rustic yet elegant and refined place. The food is good, with pizzas starting at €8 and tripe starting at €9. The prices are reasonable, perhaps a little low for the quality.
15/11/2025: We went there on the recommendation of the owner of a nearby winery. We were impressed by the unique and charming location. The dishes we ordered were excellent, including the fantastic risotto all'amore. Everything was accompanied by a good bottle of wine, a nice wine list, and the desserts were also delicious. The staff were friendly. We'll be back in the spring.
