On the recommendation of the very friendly innkeeper, we had the mixed seafood starter platter and then Gnocchi alla Putanesca. Both shared by two people, which wasn't a problem at all. The world's best tiramisu and mandarin sorbet for dessert. Everything excellent!!
Ambiance so nice and quiet right on a canal, just two parallel streets from Via Garibaldi. You have to want to go here to find it. And actually you shouldn't rate it at all, so that nothing but nothing changes here!
Liquorizza as a digestive a new discovery for us...

By coincidence we found this magnificent place. The food was not only superb but all wine proposals have been a great match. But what has sets this place apart was the great and super kind service that you hardly can imagine in other places. Especially the chef is a great person and it was delightful to learn more about food and how to cook. You feel being part of a family! This place will become unforgettable and this is a guarantee. Enjoy it.

Menu tradizionale, con qualche lieve tocco che tiene un po’ su, oggettivamente top anche perché non serve tirarsela per mangiare bene. Location anche, al top: in fondo a Castello, tavolini sul canale e fuori dal casino. Top l’ho già detto, non c’è altro da aggiungere. Ah, costi che non ti pelano. Infine, non ho grandi statistiche di accesso ma quando ci siamo andati c’erano (quasi) soltanto Clienti indubbiamente veneziani (a occhio proprio di Castello eh eh…).

I was in Venice for a week and there was no place I felt as welcome as this osteria! Everyone working there was super friendly and me and my friend had an amazing time!
The food was also some of my favourite I tried in Venice, really delicious and appropriately priced! I would have loved to be able to eat there again but the next few days it was all booked!
I would definitely recommend!

A beautiful restaurant away from the busy center. Recommend by local and the experience was amazing! The restaurant is right by water which is really relaxing. The potato gnocchi was my favorite dish and the hospitality provided by Jordana and Hosseina made my experience so much better.

Fabio is the owner and chef! We totally enjoyed our dinner. The house wine is delicious. The atmosphere is comfortable and lovely. You can easily get there from the Giordani vaporetto stop. A must for your Venice experience!! Thank you Fabio and our charming waiter Federico!!
