Antica Osteria Busocaldo In Pozzolengo

Nice place and friendly staff. However, the bill was above average despite the small portions.

The Osteria is phenomenal. We only had 1.7 km from our accommodation 🤩. The service is excellent. I wanted a Lugana that I didn't know yet and the waiter let me try it because he knew it wasn't quite right for dinner. Yes, it wasn't quite the right wine. We then took his wine recommendation. We had an incredible culinary evening and will definitely be back 🤗 Thanks to the entire team for the love you put into it 🥰

I visited Busocaldo on a sultry summer evening. What an atmosphere! Inside the fireplace is spectacular. Ate delicious meat and fish. This tavern is a point of reference when passing through lower Benaco :-)

Il locale è molto bello, ideale per una serata tranquilla immersa nel verde nei pressi di Peschiera. Abbiamo assaggiato alcuni piatti ben cucinati tra cui delle tagliatelline in brodo di fegatini, dei carciofi spadellati ottimi, casoncelli bresciani al burro e salvia, una tagliata, e una peperonata gustosa. Siamo usciti soddisfatti , compresa la cortesia del titolare. Il prezzo è in linea con la location.

Ci siamo fermati in questo posticino per caso, ma consiglio vivamente di fermarvi. Tagliata di manzo con patate al forno, una vera bontà, si scioglieva in bocca dalla delicatezza. Bigoli con le sarde e straccetti di pollo ruspante. Pane fatto in casa super. Il titolare molto cortese e disponibile. Complimenti

The food was very tasty, the service was perfect, we are at a linguistic disadvantage, but they made a lot of effort to look after us so that we felt very comfortable and everything was sorted out. The advantage here is that there is a map in DE and the boss can speak and understand good DE 👍🫶🏻 so we'll be happy to come back

We went on Monday for lunch and they kept it open just for us! All delicious and prepared for gluten free. Friendly and kind. An applause.

Good food, decent quantities. Price normal. It's true, the grill is no longer there. But why tie ourselves to the past? Location surrounded by greenery. Only the wait between one dish and another needs improvement.

We arrived well in advance of the opening time and although they were not yet open to the public they made us sit and served us a bottle of wine while waiting for the kitchen to open. Very good food. Very friendly and helpful staff!

We returned to this place after several years. We really liked it the first time, the environment was warm and welcoming, full of people, with a spectacular grill at the entrance that made our mouths water and wonderful aromas coming from the kitchen. For some reason, the grill was closed, the menu changed (grilled meats were removed) and the prices went up a lot, the place was half empty. The atmosphere is different. The dishes we ate were still good even if not exceptional, almost the entire menu was offered in a gluten-free version (local AIC informed) which for a celiac like me is always appreciated, but we were a little disappointed. I also think the price paid is excessive: a polenta with mushrooms, 3 tagliatelle with mushrooms, 3 desserts, water and wine for €22, we spent €115. I don't know if we will return.
