I ate very well, excellent service, reasonable price.

Passed by there today for a bike ride, we stopped. I appreciated everything, from the kindness of the owners to the environment to the excellent food and service. I hope to be able to return. Thank you

Arriving from Montefosca by motorbike, right at lunch time, we are in Prossenicco, in front of the Osteria al Centro. The kind gentleman who is dismantling a gazebo invites us to park in the lot where he is working: thanks! We enter the restaurant accompanied by the "landlady" finding the atmosphere of the old taverns, warm (also due to the cast iron stove that is running) and welcoming; plus everything here is clean and tidy. We choose gnocchi with venison and meat (I don't remember the name...) similar to cevapcici but less garlicky (fortunately). All very good. The menu list isn't very long but we like it that way: it means that the dishes are really fresh and freshly prepared. Enticed by our motorbikes parked outside, a group of Venetian motorcyclists joins us: they too are satisfied with the place. Bill of €25 each (with a beer, a quarter of wine, mineral water and coffee). Very good! The place, for us, is a little out of the way, but we will happily return

In motocicletta, arrivando da Montefosca, proprio a ora di pranzo, siamo a Prossenicco, di fronte all'Osteria al Centro. Il gentile signore che sta smontando un gazebo, ci invita a parcheggiare nello spiazzo dove stava lavorando: grazie! Entriamo nel locale accompagnati dall'"ostessa": troviamo l'atmosfera delle vecchie osterie, calda (anche per la stufa in ghisa che sta andando) ed accogliente; in più qui è tutto pulito e in ordine. Scegliamo gnocchi al capriolo e della carne (non ne ricordo il nome...) che ricorda il sapore dei cevapcici (meno agliaceo!). Tutto molto buono. La lista del menu non è molto lunga ma ci piace così: significa che i piatti sono davvero freschi e preparati al momento. Invogliati dalle nostre moto parcheggiate all'esterno ci raggiunge una comitiva di motociclisti veneti: anche loro soddisfatti del posto. Conto di 25 € a testa (con una birra, un quarto di vino, acqua minerale e caffè). Molto bene! Il posto, per noi, è un po' fuori mano, ma ci torneremo volentieri.

An ancient tavern where you can eat excellently. We went last weekend and tasted an encore of homemade gnocchi and Ćevapčići burgers accompanied by a tasty sauce and a mixed salad on the side. Excellent service from the owner... ... flavors of home 🏡 S U P E R
