We had a truly wonderful meal! The Florentine steak was exceptional: tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The side dishes—potatoes, beans, and fricchio—were also excellent, all prepared with great care. The owner is a quintessential Tuscan, friendly, and spontaneous, like someone straight out of a Pieraccioni film: with a crack of jokes and a quip, he made us feel right at home. It was a wonderful experience, we'll definitely be back!

A small but very welcoming, family-run restaurant located outside the city walls and near Lucca train station. The food is excellent, especially the wide selection of local red meats. The steaks and beef tagliata are a guarantee. Exceptional!
