Locanda Skansen, a timeless place.... For many, but not for all... Authentic food made of good things and a lot of passion and patience, as each dish retains its flavors, full of stories and traditions... It's a theater where each of the characters becomes fundamental...

A very charming and alternative lunch featuring authentic products and generous dishes. Friendly and cordial service. The location is a charming inn, with striking furnishings and plenty of eye-catching items. Another nice touch is the soft lighting, which makes for a very informal experience. The food is plentiful and delicious, with homemade products. There's no menu, and the price is fixed, varying depending on the type of dish you choose. They offer what the chef suggests, using the day's produce, with little variation, precisely because the products are locally sourced. I also recommend visiting with children, as they have animals like chickens and turkeys that roam freely in the garden.

I went there for dinner with friends. The location was enchanting, the food delicious and authentic, and the service impeccable. Even though we were outside, I wasn't bitten by mosquitoes. And last but not least, the cooler temperatures are a great escape during the scorching Roman evenings.

Rustic atmosphere with free-roaming animals and folk-style decor. Outdoor seating or indoor seating without any panoramic views, but still very pleasant. Medium-volume music featuring '60s-'70s pop-rock classics. Fixed menu with few variations. Appetizers include excellent crostini, cured meats, cooked vegetables (peppers, zucchini, etc.), frittata, primosale cheese, and timbale. Everything is very good and carefully prepared. Medium-quality red wine on tap. The first course is fettuccine with chanterelle mushrooms, very flavorful but still well-made. The tarts with various jams and ricotta are also delicious. Price: €35 for an appetizer, first course, and dessert. This family-friendly atmosphere with a distinctive feel attracts a loyal clientele.

Genuinely homely and bucolic atmosphere, with a touch of originality and vintage elements. Good and genuine food. Family atmosphere. An unsatisfactory aspect was the lack of information on how the menus worked, with the result that, despite having taken a few dishes, certainly not all those available, in the end we paid a bit too much, considering that the dishes were fixed for the day (i.e. not à la carte menu). Oh well, even if a little would have been enough... Kind. Bathroom so-so, certainly not the best for ladies. Water saving is great, but having a shared bathroom for men and women, plus without toilet seats, I think is not good at all. Payment by debit card without problems. Given the originality and genuineness of the proposal, I still give it 5 stars, even in the presence of possible improvements.

Una scoperta! Siamo stati oggi per la prima volta con la famiglia ed è stata un’esperienza felice. Il locale è unico nel suo genere, ovviamente di ispirazione scandinava, tutto in legno, con una luce tenue, tutto volto a creare un clima accogliente e familiare. Ad accoglierci (dopo vari animali che girovagano nei pressi della locanda) è stato uno dei due padroni di casa, il fantastico Silvano che ha immediatamente dichiarato quale fosse il patto al quale noi commensali dovevamo attenerci: “Io vi porto i piatti pieni e voi me li rimandate indietro vuoti, altrimenti libero i cani!”. E poi via, attraverso una decina di antipasti, primi piatti ricchi, secondi buonissimi e dolci fatti in casa, caffè, acqua, vino (o birra artigianale). Il conto è veramente alla portata di tutti. Torneremo sicuramente, anche perché all’uscita abbiamo provveduto a prenotare nuovamente per portarci degli amici. APPLAUSI
