I went to dinner last night and I had a great time, in particular we really appreciated the particular taste of the panzarotti dish and the wine even if all the other dishes were very good I would recommend it Ciaooo

La Locanda del Falco is always a sure thing! Hospitality, friendliness ... and excellent service The restaurant is located in Rivalta, a jewel of the Trebbia Valley, with its castle and its narrow streets A welcoming place, a warm atmosphere ... the table for two in front of the fireplace, its outdoor garden ... care in the furnishings and a lot of attention to the quality of the raw materials used and in proposing them in tasty and balanced dishes

We have eaten here twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. The food is just amazing with perfect taste in every way. For dinner we came a night where there was wine tasting do only limited choices we were told. Limited means only about 6-8 dishes and 5 desserts..... The courtyard is so wonderful to sit in. The passion from the entire staff is so wonderful to feel and you sense the pride in every detail.

We celebrated a birthday and booked this restaurant at the foot of the Piacenza hills. We ate well under a wisteria pergola. We drank a bottle of excellent gotturnio and water at will. For 5 people 250 euros. Excellent service and friendly staff. I recommend! I forgot... Book well in advance!

Pranzo in loco in occasione della visita del Castello di Rivalta. Servizio accurato, con spiegazione dei piatti e giustamente cerimonioso come si conviene a un locale di alto livello. Belle le sale, con sapore antico. Prezzi adeguati al livello del locale. Cibi buoni, curati, genuini, tipici; ottimi, ma non ci hanno entusiasmato.

Gita fuori porta per pranzo nel bellissimo borgo di Rivalta con ottimo pranzo in un posto “vero” con una cucina di qualità del territorio, sapori autentici, cortesia del personale ed una interessante lista dei vini peraltro bene spiegata (come i piatti). I migliori anolini in brodo, torneremo per lo stinco

03/08/2025: The rooms aren't overly spacious, but they're definitely clean and high-tech. So, I'd definitely choose it again as a base.
30/07/2025: We stayed at the Mathis for one night. Everything was perfect, we felt very comfortable. Beautiful rooms and very good food at the hotel restaurant. The hotel is located just steps from the center. All the staff were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you so much.

La Botique del Gelato

01/09/2025: Excellent gelato, perhaps the best in Piacenza. It's not easy to find: it's on a small, popular street not very close to the historic center. It's a shame that you have to stand on the sidewalk; there are no benches or chairs. But as long as the quality is good and the price isn't too high, it's acceptable.
30/08/2025: It's my first time here and I found it by chance, the ice cream was very good, both fruit and cream, I tried strawberry and yogurt, nuts and honey were excellent
