A pleasant discovery near the Vatican. Excellent experience, friendly staff, and quality food. Truly generous portions, a varied restaurant with a wide selection on the menu, and reasonable prices given the quality of the dishes offered. I booked through TheFork and also received a discount on the entire menu excluding drinks. Dinner for two, including appetizers, first courses, drinks, cover charge, liqueurs, and dessert, cost just over €50, or about €25 per person. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent and plentiful dishes. The owner was incredibly kind, courteous, and helpful. He made me and my family feel right at home. He made me a tiramisu cake to celebrate my graduation. So sweet. It'll be our regular stop every time we return to Rome.

Underrated seafood place. Service was good and food was amazing

High-quality dishes, very fresh and beautifully presented fish and meat. Really good Roman-style pizza! The service was attentive, perhaps even a little too attentive in the dining room. It's a shame that everything is declining in quality when it comes to service and maintenance. It would be a much more popular place if there were improvements and modernizations, more attention to cleanliness and details (the bathroom handle shouldn't be left in the customer's hand 😅). If I put cutlery on my plate, it would be appreciated if they were replaced, especially if I had a fish appetizer and then a meat first or second course. Instead, the waiter took them off my plate and put them back dirty on the table. It's really not a nice presentation. But I hope they will improve. I still want to award this osteria 5 stars for the quality of the food and the skill of the chef, as well as for the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner.

We ordered pizza. For those who like thin pizza, it's truly a place to enjoy it. We also took advantage of the recommendations they were happy to give us.

Back at Osteria del Mare, delicious dishes, friendly, and quick waiter. Kudos also to Lorenzo for his kindness. The seafood dishes were delicious, a repeat experience, highly recommended.

Fab restaurant for fish and shellfish. Recommend to start with the raw fish plate. Absolutely fabulous.
