Antica Locanda Alpino In Baceno

Let me start straight away by saying that this is NOT a place for influencers and digital creators or so, nor is it a place for those who expect a hotel like the Palace in Gstaad. The Antica Locanda Alpino is a genuine place, where time has stopped and where everything smells of wood. This is an old-fashioned refuge, with a wonderful view of the Alpe Devero plain and where you can eat wonderfully simple dishes, two first courses and two second courses on the menu, those who want dishes and the starred chef should stay away. In a very short time it became my/our spot at Devero

Great place for three days under the snow in a corner of paradise. The Locanda is a corner of the past, here it seems like we are in other times, we also enjoyed the simple cuisine but with a taste of fantastic local and typical products. Go there and you will see that as soon as you pass the tunnel you will be in another fantastic world where you can enjoy the sound of silence.

Welcoming place and kind owners, we always had a great time even with our 1 year old daughter. Good food, really excellent polenta with venison! We will be back to visit you soon. Highly recommended if you are in the area.
