I discovered this trattoria thanks to a local friend, and I have to say it was a wonderful surprise! Hostaria dai Ghiottoni is a true Roman trattoria: a simple and authentic atmosphere, generous portions, and truly excellent dishes, prepared with quality ingredients. The desserts are also absolutely worth it, highly recommended!

I recommend this osteria for many reasons. The dishes are delicious, especially classic and traditional Central Italian cuisine, well-prepared and generously portioned. The service is fast and courteous, and the atmosphere is informal yet relaxing. The atmosphere is that of a true osteria, untouched by modernizations, yet not tired or shabby. The prices are reasonable, even reasonably priced for the quality on some items. The main courses are a little less impressive, but still good. I definitely recommend this place. The place isn't particularly large and is a bit hidden from view.

The cacio e pepe is an absolute specialty!
The tagliata are always cooked to perfection, just the right temperature.

Typical Roman dishes
Oxtail stew, Gricia, cacio e pepe, carbonara, and many other dishes.
Reasonable prices and generous portions.
Fast service.
The atmosphere is a bit dated but welcoming.
For two, we spent €63 for Gricia, cacio e pepe, rosemary steak, and Oxtail stew.
2 bottles of mineral water.
For me, the price/quality ratio is almost unbeatable.
Highly recommended.

Cacio e pepe subbliminale. La bruschetta con il lardo e pomodorini troppo buona. Il tiramisù con la Nutella i ha “sconquassato”.
