So, so, so authentic! We were all very impressed! Trieste classic! Jota...definitely a must-try! Very friendly and competent service from the owner. Very good house wine! Incredibly cozy atmosphere. Lots of locals. A bit hidden near the cathedral.

The food was delicious and high-quality. We tried the meat dishes and a garganelli pasta dish: delicious. The service was fast, efficient, and courteous. The ambiance was also beautiful and elegant. Highly recommended for the style, the house wine, and the kindness of the owners.

Highly recommended, local dishes made with love, and you can taste it. The guests are mainly locals, and that speaks volumes. The decor is delightfully packed with everything and anything; it's a feast for the eyes. The price-quality ratio is excellent.

Vecchia Osteria trasformata in piccolo ristorante, la mia esperienza è stata soddisfacente, piatti della tradizione ottimamente preparati, posizione un poco defilata sul colle di S.Giusto ma abbastanza centrale, personale gentile rapporto qualità prezzo giusto.
Consiglio, prenotazione assolutamente necessaria vista le dimensioni ridotte del ristorante.

Antica osteria nel cuore di Trieste, a due passi (veri, non quelli da maratoneta) dal Castello di San Giusto. Qui il tempo si è fermato: piatti tipici locali e un’atmosfera che sembra uscita direttamente da una cartolina d’epoca, senza ritocchi. Il servizio non è più come quello di una volta, ma comunque adeguato e formale.
Attenzione però: i tavoli saranno sì e no sei, quindi se volete evitare di ammirarla solo dalla vetrina, prenotate con largo anticipo. Fidatevi, si riempie più in fretta di un buffet gratuito!
