We visited Antica Hosteria Cavallino and had a truly enjoyable experience. We tried high-quality seafood dishes, with a distinct Sardinian flavour. Fregua Sarda Senatore Capelli creamed with shellfish (lobster and red shrimp): creamy, balanced, and rich in flavour. Gran Trionfo di Crustacei del Mediterraneo alla Catalana: a spectacular and generous dish, perfect for those who love the authentic flavours of the sea. A delicious Sardinian Vermentino paired the meal, fresh and aromatic, which perfectly complemented the dishes. To conclude, a delicious warm ravioli filled with citrus custard and basil ice cream: an original and well-executed dessert. The location is private and welcoming, the atmosphere intimate and refined. The staff was courteous and friendly, helping make the evening even more enjoyable. The dishes are of a high standard, and the quality is evident, even if the prices are a bit above average. Overall, however, it's worth it for those seeking refined seafood cuisine with a strong Sardinian identity. The house myrtle liqueur is offered at the end. Always appreciated.
