We spent a few days in Cilento and visited the Antica Giara dairy. We had lunch there twice. Maria, the owner, welcomed us and let us taste her farm's products: buffalo cheeses, desserts, and exquisite, high-quality pasta dishes made with the freshest ingredients. It was a wonderful experience. We're taking home a box of these products.

We found exceptional mozzarella and scamorza, fresh and made with milk from their own farms, at very reasonable prices, and the ladies were very kind and friendly. Not to be missed.

I recommend this dairy, which also offers a set lunch menu. You can choose between a tasting of local cheeses and cured meats for €15 and/or a first course for €10. The cheeses are very good. The cured meats are also excellent. The sbrisolona with buffalo ricotta was divine. The atmosphere is simple but clean. Tranquility and authenticity are the hallmarks.

While touring the Cilento area, we stopped at this dairy that sells dairy products, cured meats, and pasta. Since they also serve food, we enjoyed a delicious caprese salad with a side of vegetables, eggplant, and peppers.

We stumbled upon it by chance, and I must say it's a great place for lunch.
I had the tasting menu, which includes a cheese and cured meat platter, a plate of typical local vegetables, and a small plate of buffalo mozzarella bites.
I must say it was all very good and plentiful.
They also offer pasta dishes and much more.
I also tried the ricotta and fig crumble, which was very good. I highly recommend it.
