We live in the area, and having heard they were open for lunch, we booked... Absolutely recommended everything: from the appetizer with cheeses and dairy products made by the dairy, along with local cured meats and vegetables, to the truly delicious gnocchi alla soorentina. Needless to say, we absolutely must try it and return.

UPDATE. I visted yesterday and bought mozzarella and scamorza and the quality of their cheese is really TOP.
Goodness, DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE!!! The food is simply fantastic. The menu is simple, food quality is TOP and the value for money is amazing.
The look of this place is nothing special, it is near to the road and the car parking is limited. But when you sit down and then when you taste the food you will love this place for sure.
Service is fast and smiling. The speciality of the house is the cheese which they produce themselves and there is also a shop where you can buy their products to take home. And the pasta is also totally wonderful!
Wine is great and the beer too so what is not to like???? The best of Italian food is here at totally modest prices too.

I had the pleasure of visiting Caseificio Antica Giara, located in the heart of Cilento. A must-see for anyone who loves buffalo mozzarella and artisanal cheeses made with passion. The cheeses, all produced on site, range from buffalo mozzarella to aged cheeses, burrata, and other typical Cilento delicacies. Excellent quality ingredients. Tasting menu €15 and first courses €10. Parking is available nearby.
A must-see for anyone visiting this area; we will definitely be back.

We stopped for lunch at this dairy that we had always seen in passing, intrigued by the positive reviews. We tried a tasting plate with cheeses, vegetables and morsels: excellent and plentiful and a first course of fusilli courgette flowers sausage and provolone very good (perhaps just a little salty). Honest prices and impeccable service. I recommend it for a quick and tasty lunch break.

We had lunch in a small room with a few tables next to the dairy. There are various first courses, water and salt (stale bread soaked and seasoned with tomato, mozzarella, basil, oil and salt), dairy products of all kinds. We split a tasting board with vegetables prepared in various ways and various types of buffalo milk cheeses, fresh and aged. For dessert we had a slice of crumble with buffalo ricotta and apricot jam. A truly remarkable culinary experience, everything delicious and above all genuine, sincere, without frills. I tasted forgotten flavors, wonderful. Obviously we went back again today to get mozzarella and sandwiches for the journey home.
