I expect we will visit every day of our stay in Rome! My youngest has food allergies and was very excited to find out he could have chocolate (and more) flavoured gelato as a delicious treat on a hot day. We suggest enjoying the gelato on the benches outside under the shade of the orange trees.

Excellent ice cream near the Colosseum. I loved the berry ice cream, really very fruity. The place is a little remote, but definitely worth the detour!

My family is visiting from Alaska, so gelato on these hot Roman days is a must. This shop is maybe 500 feet from our Air BnB, but I'd walk to it if it was a mile away. It is phenomenal, I'm not sure if it's a small batch or not, but it certainly tastes it. We have gone the last two nights and will be returning tomorrow before we leave!

I came to this gelato shop because I was so hot and thirsty after going to Foro Romano, and it was so delicious! I had a cup of lemon gelato and was able to quench my thirst and the heat at once!

Very good gelato in a less frequented part of central Rome. Place is not flashy, but the ice cream is great!

Amazing ice creams! Closing time suggested by Google is not reliable (the time varies depending on the day and season). Now, for example, it's 10.30pm and it's open. Highly recommended!

29/12/2024: Having lunch at the Botticella Restaurant turned out to be a very pleasant surprise! We arrived on a Sunday morning on the Bracciano lakefront without having booked, yet we were welcomed without difficulty and with real smiles and warm hospitality! The staff is pleasant, friendly, courteous and always kind and smiling, the dishes are deliciously cooked and presented in a refined and imaginative way, the environment is an elegant mix of vintage and classicism, the service is punctual and fast even in the busiest moments. crowding. Try the creations based on lake fish, if you pass through these parts you can't miss the sunset from this romantic position! We will be back!
25/12/2024: Calamarata with seafood, baked paccheri parmigiana and fettuccine with chanterelle mushrooms, each better than the other. At the end also a millefeuille crumble and the classic sour cherry tart. Friendly staff and family environment.

Ristorante Pizzeria ArVolo

31/12/2024: Pizzeria-trattoria in the Marconi area which, despite being in a non-central area, having paper placemats and catering to a neighborhood clientele, has prices comparable to other types of establishments. The food didn't drive me crazy personally, yes there is a lot of choice between first courses, second courses, meat, pizza and hamburgers, but there is no specific type of cuisine to be identified. I certainly found the strong point in the service, fast and courteous.
