Excellent dinner in Palermo's historic center We ordered baked anelletti, Marsala scallops, pistachio-flavored tuna steak, and Sicilian cannoli—all delicious! Excellent value. All this was complemented by the incredibly helpful and friendly waiter Antonio! He was able to give us lots of tips about Palermo that no one else could. A true guarantee, highly recommended!

The pasta is good. However, we wanted to have one of the typical Sicilian starters, namely potato croquettes inside bread. The bread was very dry. The place was nice, but it was very crowded.

Food was great. Service was awful. They literally ignored us twice when I was trying to ask for a table. Then, they bounced us back and forth with different colleagues before getting us a table with some wait. Seemed annoyed to have customers. Annoyed to ask for the food, and forgot one of the pane e panelle. When I asked for a coffee, they said it'd be faster if I just got inside and ordered it myself 😅 overpriced for what it is.

20/08/2025: A historic bar in Palermo, now a must-see in Piazza Restivo. From older customers to youngsters enjoying their first aperitifs, not many seem to be disappointed by the service and company offered at Bar Magnolie. Management has been consolidated for decades, and the staff is highly professional. Excellent value and outstanding cuisine.
10/06/2025: A point of reference for a moment of relaxation, a coffee or a quick meal.
