Antica Focacceria Ingrao In Sciacca

I'm delighted to update my review. While I had previously criticized the management of stock levels, I must now acknowledge an exceptional improvement. During the Carnival period, when spleen was practically impossible to find anywhere in the city, the owner personally notified me as soon as the product arrived in stock so I could enjoy my sandwich. This rare customer service erases any previous doubts. In addition to the impeccable management despite the large crowds, I had the opportunity to try the croquettes: truly excellent, a cut above what's usually found in the area. I'm happy to have changed my mind; the professionalism and courtesy are back to their peak. A little tip: also order a warm ravioli with ricotta... A real treat. Thanks again, staff!

We found it while passing by, and honestly, it was a delicious surprise. Delicious sandwiches... excellent pans... friendly service, and to top it off, a taste of the excellent cassatelle dessert. What can I say? Go there!

On our way back from a tour of Sicily, we discovered Antica Focacceria Ingrao thanks to the reviews. What a find! A warm, almost family-like welcome from the owners who made us feel right at home. Their products are exceptional, authentic, and delicious. An experience that goes beyond the food, thanks to the passion they convey. Highly recommended for anyone passing through Sciacca; you won't regret it!

What can I say? The Santa Lucia arancini have a breading you won't find anywhere else in Sciacca. The panelle are excellent!

Everything was amazing!!!!!! The food and the kindness. We walked from Porta Palermo to Sciacca because, based on the reviews, we had to try this focacceria. Our efforts were rewarded. The panelle are delicious, as are the arancine (or arancini?!?), the best we've ever had, and the mozzarella is sublime. The potato croquettes are also amazing, and the pane cunzato (the only shame is that the cheese isn't flavorful enough, in our opinion). The place is popular with locals as well as Sicilians in general. Unfortunately, or fortunately, it's very small inside, and there's not much room outside to sit either. Definitely worth a try.

After many years, I returned to Sciacca (Sicily). I wanted a sandwich and a panelle, and stopping at a baker who supplies them, he recommended Antica Focacceria Ignaro. The panelle sandwich was excellent. He also made me try the potato croquettes, made to order—I must say, they were a bomb of deliciousness. The cassatielle, sweet Sicilian ravioli with ricotta, was delicious 😋, simple, quick, and high-quality. We had the arancini (or whatever you want to call them), and I highly recommend it. It's very good and high-quality.
