Everything was amazing!!!!!! The food and the kindness.
We walked from Porta Palermo to Sciacca because, based on the reviews, we had to try this focacceria. Our efforts were rewarded. The panelle are delicious, as are the arancine (or arancini?!?), the best we've ever had, and the mozzarella is sublime. The potato croquettes are also amazing, and the pane cunzato (the only shame is that the cheese isn't flavorful enough, in our opinion). The place is popular with locals as well as Sicilians in general. Unfortunately, or fortunately, it's very small inside, and there's not much room outside to sit either. Definitely worth a try.

After many years, I returned to Sciacca (Sicily). I wanted a sandwich and a panelle, and stopping at a baker who supplies them, he recommended Antica Focacceria Ignaro.
The panelle sandwich was excellent. He also made me try the potato croquettes, made to order—I must say, they were a bomb of deliciousness. The cassatielle, sweet Sicilian ravioli with ricotta, was delicious 😋, simple, quick, and high-quality.
We had the arancini (or whatever you want to call them), and I highly recommend it. It's very good and high-quality.

"They have the best rolls and arancini I've ever eaten!" Anyone in Sciacca absolutely must eat here! The rolls, arancini, and panelle are simply incredible. Everything is super fresh and extremely delicious. An absolute highlight of my stay in Sicily! I highly recommend it.

Incredible and tasty food. Perfect and light fried food. We had a sandwich with panelle and eggplant, arancini (with ragù and vegetarian), potato croquettes, and spectacular cassatelle for dessert.
The owner was super friendly and helpful.

The best arancine we've had in Sicilia AND Italy ;)
Great taste, great filling. Also the canollo was tasty. The owners were very nice. Also English speaking.

This little fast food joint in the outskirts of Sciacca is delightful beyond belief. I’d say it’s almost worth going out of your way to experience it. As soon as I entered the place Mr. Ingrao welcomed us with some free panelle. We got a pane cunzatu which was juicy, savory and crunchy. The panelle sandwich was an explosion of umami too. We also tried the award winning arancina, which was textured to the heavens. Moreover, Mr. Ingrao truly seems passionate about his craft and a good conversationalist. Cherry on top is the price: 2 sandwiches, 1 arancina, 1 soda, and 1 cassatella as dessert for a mere 11.50 euros.
