Historic and relaxing venue with pleasant background music. The savory Krumiri to pair with the aperitif are an excellent past-present combination. It's really worth a stop.

Beautiful place set in the historic center of Casale Monferrato, a place where you can relax as if you were in your living room at home, savoring an excellent eggnog accompanied by the famous scabs. All this while having a chat with the very kind managers. If there is the opportunity to return to Casale, I will certainly know where to go.

CHARM OF OLD TIMES: upon entering the restaurant, overlooking the central square, old photos and antique objects make the customer take a dive into the past. Recommended breakfast with hot zabaglione and krumiri, all accompanied by the pleasant company of Mr. Ruggero who carefully prepares what customers request, making them feel at home. Definitely a shame not to try!

Parto con una menzione al locale. Un posto bello, accogliente, capace di raccontare una lunghissima storia. Un posto dove si potrebbero passare ore. Subito dopo merita una menzione la gestione. Sono persone disponibili, gentili, attente ai clienti e con una grande passione per il loro lavoro. Poi arrivano i prodotti. I Krumiri sono davvero molto buoni ma, soprattutto, sono realizzati con materie ricercate tra i migliori produttori delle nostre Regioni. Dalla farina, allo zucchero, al burro tutto è selezionato con la più grande attenzione a qualità e provenienza. Il risultato ne è la prova concreta. Rispetto al tradizionale Krumiro, sono realizzate varianti (mais, cioccolato, …) nonché una originale versione salata giustissima per gli aperitivi (parmigiano, barbabietola e gorgonzola, cipolla, acciughe, …). In breve, è stata una bellissima scoperta in un pomeriggio pre-natalizio in una cittadina viva e pronta ad accogliere visitatori curiosi. Un posto da conoscere e dove ritornare. Naturalmente consigliato‼️‼️‼️
