Good restaurant with excellent quality food, welcoming environment and convenient private parking.

I returned to this restaurant after a few years and I confirm that I had a good time, as in the past, the food is good with good value for money.

Sincere place near the Bicocca university in the Monza sector. Excellent work menu, I came for lunch with colleagues and we all ate very well.

Vintage Ambience – Excellent Cuisine Last Sunday I tried the cuisine of Antica Cascina Zappa in the company of relatives. The restaurant was created inside an old farmhouse, in Vedano al Lambro, not far from the Monza racetrack. The location is not easily accessible as it is located in an oasis of tranquility far from city traffic, between the San Gerardo Hospital and some branches of the Bicocca University of Milan. Originally established as a tavern, over time the restaurant has extended its culinary horizons, so in addition to the classic recipes of traditional Lombard cuisine, it offers tasty and refined meat and fish dishes, produced with fresh, top-quality ingredients. There were four of us and we opted for fish dishes, well cooked, with particular reference to Sicilian cuisine. Animated by the spirit of the owners, the restaurant has a slightly dated, old-fashioned environment, but the quality of the dishes was excellent. We opted for traditional appetizers, from octopus with potatoes, to mussels in stew and Sicilian mixed seafood appetizer (shrimps, swordfish, octopus). While as second courses we appreciated Catalan-style prawns, swordfish rolls with salmoriglio, swordfish Messina style and baked sea bass with potatoes. Beyond the somewhat long waiting times (keep in mind that it was the Sunday transition from Summer Time to Winter Time, so most of the customers arrived before one, and the room was full), all the dishes of fish tasted were excellent, both in preparation and quality. The lunch ended with a round of desserts, while during the same lunch a half liter of sparkling white wine in a carafe was appreciated. Adequate prices, just over 80 euros per couple, in the quality/price ratio; Average portions, not abundant. I would like to point out the presence of a large outdoor car park. The Antica Cascina Zappa is worth a visit for lunch or dinner.

Excellent, I always went there since '92 when I was doing maintenance at the San Gerardo CT scan, which I crossed on foot and was right in front of it from a secondary exit. Who knows if it's still the same management, if I ever go back to Monza I'll definitely go there👍🏻💯

Great place to eat...well cooked food, with particular reference to Sicilian cuisine...not an attractive location. Good prices for the quality and abundance. A place for "foodies". Must try
