Visited this place as four American tourists randomly. The bald man behind the counter took our orders and bade us to sit down and enjoy our food. He didn’t ask for money until we were comfortable and done eating. Granted, he was also quite busy with customers coming in for lunch and other tourists so he wasn’t really in a position to Settle the bill anyways. We ended up buying three Panini‘s and one plate of cured meat with pecorino. The price was very fair, at least compared to what I could get back home in Seattle (€75 for three paninis, a caprese pack, a plate of prosciutto & salumi & pecorino, five peach teas, and a whole salumi for me to take home to Seattle). As an American tourist with a very weak grasp of Italian, I did not get the feeling that the man behind the counter was rude at all. Reading the reviews of other patrons before posting my own, it feels that people can mistake a Stoic disposition as rudeness when in reality it’s just a man a work. Not a lot of bullshit and hustle, just a man taking my order, serving me, and smiling at the end. Hell, compared to the attitude people in Seattle can have towards me with a tip and a smile, I would welcome this man’s attitude any day of the week. I would recommend this place to anyone in my family and friends group, and I invite anybody reading this review to do the same. I like this place, and I think I’ll bring my family here when I come back to Rome.

Amazing sandwiches, better than all'antico vinaio to be honest. Highly recommend

We noticed the sign advertising sandwiches for 5€ and it got us into the shop. Of course it is from 5 €. Bills seemed to be being rounded up. I had a sandwich and a glass of wine. Eventually we bought some parmigiana to take away too. The staff had an odd attitude to the customers. Not all pleasant. However the food and drink were very nice indeed.

This man had just opened and was immediately able to make the tastiest mortadella sandwiches. Really a great man.

Excellent cured meat shop and the service is warm and welcoming, we got two delicious focaccias at a more than fair price

Sosta nei pressi di piazza Navona ed in fianco a Mc Donald, però qui il cibo è autentico, porchetta, mortazza, guanciale, provolone, ce n’è per ogni gusto, panini strepitosi, pizza bianca farcita gustosa, quantità abbondante, cosa chiedere di più? Il prezzo ovviamente adeguato alla zona. Tappa obbligatoria per chi sa ancora scegliere e mangiare bene. Se siete a dieta andate oltre.
