World-class cappelletti! The best I've ever eaten, I had two plates!

A friendly evening... a chat in a historic Ravenna restaurant, with a relaxing and typical atmosphere! As Ravenna natives, we're proud of it! Excellent quality food, as always, but prices were too high and excessive for the quantity. Two glasses of wine, €7 each... actually, just a few sips, considering how good the product was! An appetizer for two, the classic gnocco fritto, very delicate, not very greasy, and just the right amount... with the addition of caramelized figs and squacquerone, at an excessive price for the quantity served. Two first courses of excellent quality, definitely worth trying: a cappelletto officina for €18.00, although there are only nine cappelletti served, but it's enough to fill you up, as in addition to being authentic Romagna cappelletti, they're large and made with thick pastry! Perfect... the price was also right, and a cappelletto with black truffle (cappelletto replaced the tagliatella on the menu), the same quantity, the same excellent quantity (9 cappelletti), but the price was decidedly disproportionate at €25!!! The price was only discovered at checkout as it wasn't communicated when ordering, even though it was a variation from the menu! The unpleasant surprise was evident, and it clearly affected the rating!!! Finally, two coffee sorbets, delicious and in just the right quantity... total dinner €92 and some change! In short, high-quality food but excessively priced!!!!

Formerly a famous delicatessen inside Ravenna's covered market, the new location is now housed in a building near the covered market. The space is small but well-maintained. There's still a counter with excellent cured meats, a reminder of the old tradition of the previous business. The restaurant serves excellently prepared dishes, and the quality of the ingredients is top-notch. Definitely worth a try. Prices are reasonable.

A lovely, quaint, and welcoming place. The dishes are truly excellent, carefully crafted; you can taste the passion! The service is impeccable. Onofrio, thank you for opening up a world of excellent local wines to us! A special thanks to the very sweet Mrs. Giordana, who spoiled us with her delicious handmade pasta: passatelli, cappelletti, and tagliatelle!

We ate here like royalty. The welcome, the charming decor, the excellent cuisine—everything was simply perfect. The portions are also very generous, making it difficult to finish everything. This establishment is one of the best in town and truly outstanding. It deserves a higher rating!
