Our waitress was lovely (with blue hair). The atmosphere of the place is nice. The pizzas were good but could be better. The selection of pizzas is impressive!

It's a real shame when I have to write a bad review and the topic isn't the food. Overall, the staff was all very kind, but we waited almost two hours for our dishes. They brought me a dish that wasn't mine but from another table, so I was the only one eating for an hour. The dishes were sold out, so they made us change our order, only to then exchange it twice again. I don't know what their restaurant policy is in Sicily, but we've been to three restaurants, and in all of them, only one waiter took our order. It's crazy, especially in the middle of August.
Three stars, though, because the food wasn't bad, even though we finished at practically midnight.

Noisy, busy, hectic restaurant on a big busy square. The large seating area is not where the sign is on the map but in the centre of the square. Look for the Antares name by the entrance.
The three exceptionally hard-working waitresses (we loved the kind lady with the blue hair) made our evening, constantly checking we were enjoying ourselves and liking the food.
Food was good but it became great because of the service. Very enjoyable evening. Very busy after about 8.30 and you will need to wait a long time or book ahead.

We went here on August 16th. Even though we hadn't booked, they quickly found us a table for two. I had the grilled octopus and the eggplant with ricotta. Both were delicious. The octopus was incredibly tender and the pie was delicious. It was a shame about the marinara pizza, where the fish was frozen and therefore rubbery. My husband was disappointed, given that Sicily is a seaside town and the pizza was quite expensive.
