We took advantage of a Smartbox package that included a menu for one. We ordered fried anchovies with a delicious parsley sauce, gnocchi with pesto, dried tomatoes, and pecorino cheese, and tagliatelle with white ragù and mushrooms. To finish, we had a dessert—super delicious, a chef's delight—a glass of cream, chocolate, and salted caramel. We paired it all with two glasses of wine.

We were there yesterday with a group of 10 people, and all 10 of us had a delicious meal, and compliments to the chef! But the service was a different story. The young woman who was serving a table next to ours, where 4 people were almost finished, had no time for her guests. She made it clear she'd rather be done with work.
She quickly cleared away empty plates, and we weren't asked for dessert. When we asked, she said it had to be quick because the kitchen was closing soon!
We didn't give a tip at checkout, as they always include it in the bill at €2 per person.
If this restaurant had friendly staff, it would be packed. This is the place to be for the food. Too bad for the chef.

More than a trattoria, I'd describe it as a welcoming, elegant restaurant with excellent service (the table service lady was extremely kind). The food is exceptional, and the prices are also reasonable. Everything was top-notch!

The type of restaurant locals will go to because it is hidden in a corner. The food is absolutely excellent from the freshness of the ingredients to the preparation of the meals. Very simple dishes, but nonetheless spectacular.
