After "discovering" the beauty of Sessa Aurunca's historic center, my mother and I stumbled upon this unique restaurant, run with love, passion, and dedication by Mr. Francesco. The dishes and the accompanying wine did the rest. It's definitely an experience worth repeating, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to round off their visit to this splendid village in Sessa Aurunca on a high note.

A special place with a special host: chef, maitre d', sommelier, tour guide, and more. Great Francesco

We enjoyed a delicious and excellent meal at L'Angolo delle Bontà. It wasn't a menu, but the waiter/chef had a table and chairs available. We ate the meat, and everything was excellent. We had traditional Italian dishes of high quality. The waiter/chef was extremely cordial and gave us a complete meal.
We had a wonderful, extensive lunch at L'Angolo delle Bontà today.
There's no menu, but the waiter/chef explained the dishes available at the table. We had both fish and meat dishes, and everything was excellent.
Truly traditional Italian food of high quality. In addition, an extremely friendly waiter/chef made this lunch complete.

It's not for everyone...you have to try it to be able to judge, but you have to drink the wine otherwise you won't be able to live the experience to the fullest.

I'll start by saying I have nothing to say about the food because I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ate. The cured meats and cheeses were excellent, although perhaps the selection for a platter was a bit limited, considering the cured meats were basic (speck, culatello, and Neapolitan salami) and the cheeses were equally basic (the primo sale with truffle deserves a mention, while the Parmigiano Reggiano is less impressive). The service was excellent, the customer service was attentive, and everything else was spot on. Unfortunately, the lack of a menu and the noisy management style are fine if the bill doesn't skyrocket unnecessarily. Two glasses of wine and a platter, two eggplants on the house, and baby artichokes in oil on a plate, for a total of €60.00, seems excessive to me. As for me, I've been to all the provinces of Caserta, as well as Benevento, and for the same quantity and quality, the prices are lower. Furthermore, the place doesn't present itself as a luxurious place, so let's say it comes as a surprise, but nothing that can't be solved by showing the sacrosanct menu.

On a hot afternoon, this place seemed like an oasis of tranquility. We sat at the outside tables, the owner welcomed us in a friendly but professional manner, also telling us many facts about the history and beliefs of the place. Enlightening and instructive for sure. Moving on to the quality of the food and wine, I have no complaints, everything was good and special, in relation to the price paid, the note becomes slightly more painful, as we did not expect to pay 2 first courses, 48 euros. Among all the above, the final bill was a little salty, but nothing dramatic. If I have the chance I will return, why not?

Certainly a bit of a retro atmosphere but it gives way to excellent wine, excellent cured meats and everything that the owner/chef prepares...
