We ate very well. Typical restaurant. Very kind and friendly staff. Everything was natural and extraordinary. We tasted typical dishes with traditional, rural flavors. Just how we like them. The local wine was also very pleasant.

If you like rustic food, this is the place for you. Traditional South Tyrolean fare is truly delicious. The beer garden is beautifully decorated, with lots of greenery. The interior is just like you'd imagine a tavern to be. The waiters were all incredibly friendly. We even had a visit from the farm dog during our meal; he was lying quite relaxed under the table.

A quaint and cozy farm inn where you'll definitely enjoy spending time. Friendly staff, a cozy atmosphere, and, of course, delicious, freshly prepared food. And all at very reasonable prices. A visit to the farm inn is always worthwhile, especially since it's less than a ten-minute walk from Kastelbell train station. A return visit on your next vacation in the Vinschgau Valley is definitely planned!

Tschuegghof

05/08/2025: SIMPLY SENSATIONAL <3 Everyone here in Leifers should go to the Tschuegghof. The steep climb is worth it :) Once you get to the top, a sensational view and VERY warm hospitality await you. (Please make a reservation :) And the food? That tops it all even more :) We had the goulash and the three dumplings. So delicious... <3 . The other items on the fantastic menu are definitely worth recommending. And, highly recommended, is the homemade spritzer. (Available in various flavors and a real treat). To finish, the hot raspberries with vanilla ice cream... delicious. So DELICIOUS and cooked with lots of <3 (heart). THANKS AGAIN to the boss and her lovely team. We had SUCH a lovely evening. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK…..and if we go to Leifers then 90% of the time it will be because of the Tschuegghof :)
