17/07/2025: Title: Beware of Discounts I had lunch at this restaurant today. Compared to others in the same Cirfood group, it's very elegant, spacious, and there's plenty of parking. The counter staff is helpful. Unfortunately, I had a problem with my bill at the register. Even though I had chosen the Rita full meal option (first course, second course, side dish, bread, and water for €11.50), when I paid, the total was €12.40. When I asked for an explanation, the cashier said, "First of all, you don't have a side dish (do I have to?) and then you pay with meal vouchers." Her manner aside, at least she kept the formal "Sir"... "What kind of rule is that?" was my response. "The meal voucher is already a discount, I can't make a discount on the discount." Oh well, no problem. That's fine. My review, however, focuses on the thing that pisses me off the most: the 50cl bottle of Monte Cimone sparkling water for €1.30 is a complete rip-off. So all things considered, the difference is quite a bit, and with five lunch breaks a week, it's starting to add up. Thanks to those who set the prices, and thanks also to those who are supposed to monitor them.
