Old school pizzeria-restaurant, even in the atmosphere. You will feel like you have gone back in time at least 30 years. Very good and digestible pizza, thin, and really super homemade fried foods! Kind staff, easy going but also discreet, they let us chat in peace without being hyper present. The wine recommended by the host was excellent! The place is small, I recommend you book.

Sono stata ieri sera a cena in questa pizzeria e ci siamo trovati veramente bene. Supplì eccezionali , olive ascolane buone. La pizza eccezionale , prezzi onesti , un buon rapporto qualità prezzo .

Typical Roman pizzeria with incredibly friendly owners, staff and guests. The food is excellent and more than affordable. Clear recommendation, therefore full marks. I hope my path takes me here again❤️🇮🇹

We stayed in Roma for 3 nights and ate here every evening. Every pizza was a poem in itself. It tasted very good. I can only recommend it.

Homemade pizzeria restaurant. The owner is a very friendly person who knows how to have pleasant conversations. The environment is very informal and the menu, which includes dishes from appetizers to fried foods, including pizzas and calzones, has popular prices below the Roman average. The pizzas are made with a wood oven but do not have Neapolitan dough, they are flat, crunchy Roman-style pizzas. The dining room staff is friendly and the service is quite fast.

Un’altra piacevole serata trascorsa in questo accogliente locale. Fritti e pizza buonissimi ma anche carne di ottima qualità. Staff sempre disponibile e prezzi imbattibili. Da provare e ci ritornerete sicuramente. Giuliana e Franco

17/02/2025: Zio a Maccarese è una Istituzione, posto comodo, spartano, si mangia bene e si spende poco. NON è un Ristorante ma si mangia di tutto primi, secondi, contorni, dolci, tutto ben fatto. Io non rinuncio mai alla Porchetta, sempre fresca perchè ne vende tanta, vino alla mescita della cantina locale "Torre in pietra" più che godibile. Un posto che consiglio, meglio di tante Trattorie ma più simpatico, più comodo, più scelta e piatti ottimi. Prezzi assolutamente vantaggiosi.

13/02/2025: The friendliness, the food, their artisan tiramisu, their coffee, their American breakfast, the best. The two guys were super attentive and very friendly. I have read a review that does not include the €2.5 for the service but it DOES. Very top. Try it.
03/02/2025: We went to this restaurant very randomly, as we were hungry after our arrival in Rome. The pizza and the pasta we ordered were very tasty and the service was perfect! I would absolutely recommend ☺️
