Here you will find one of the best pizzas you can eat in Rome. This little historic pizzeria, very underrated, is a place to eat great pizza. The environment is familiar and friendly!

Old school pizzeria-restaurant, even in the atmosphere. You will feel like you have gone back in time at least 30 years. Very good and digestible pizza, thin, and really super homemade fried foods! Kind staff, easy going but also discreet, they let us chat in peace without being hyper present. The wine recommended by the host was excellent! The place is small, I recommend you book.

Sono stata ieri sera a cena in questa pizzeria e ci siamo trovati veramente bene. Supplì eccezionali , olive ascolane buone. La pizza eccezionale , prezzi onesti , un buon rapporto qualità prezzo .

A Rota - Pizzeria Romanesca

21/05/2025: Mario, the server, was great; he provided us with more than professional service. I have no complaints, I highly recommend him.
20/05/2025: I came to A Rota almost two years ago now and decided to repeat on a Monday at 10:00 pm. I found the dough slightly changed, perhaps less crunchy and a little bit tending to rubbery, but these are trifles on a very high level. Prices more than fair for Rome. Mario the Head Waiter makes a huge difference in management, with a place that he keeps in a careful way, working only at the table (without take-away). Congratulations!
