The octopus salad and eggplant Parmesan were excellent, the server was very nice, the outside seating area was gorgeous (literally watched fireworks over Christmas lights while eating)

I ate the typical Tiellia of Gaeta, I highly recommend it

Small restaurant in the harbor area, along the seafront. We ate outside, with just a few tables, basic but nice. Quick, very friendly service. Excellent food, we really enjoyed it. Two covers, two quarters of a tiella with octopus, two paccheri with calamari and prawns, a "votapiatto di calamari" (delicious), and two bottles of water for a total of €66.00. Highly recommended.

We went to eat "votapiatto," a typical Gaeta delicacy, which we'd enjoyed a year ago at another restaurant. Perhaps because it was the last Saturday in August and there were a lot of people... the fact is, this delicacy was cooked terribly: I'd never eaten such a heavy fried dish. We felt sick all night, and I felt sick the next day too... To partially amend what I wrote above, I must add that my husband ate fish & chips and said the dish was cooked to perfection.

Very good place for food. Fast and friendly service. It's not a huge deal, so that's a good thing. Definitely make a reservation, otherwise wait until the weekend. Location needs reconsidering, too much like a bar. Overall, good. We liked it.
