14/12/2025: ...a typical Trieste place where you can enjoy an aperitif or a buffet. The boiled meat dishes are recommended, and reservations are recommended. The three of us had a Siora Rosa platter and two mixed boiled meats with sauerkraut, mustard, and horseradish, plus a baked potato and two desserts, water, wine, coffee, and grappa for €87.

14/12/2025: A disappointment for a Triestino, a lover of traditional Trieste cuisine. The Jota was without potatoes and not even a hint of bacon. A very light version only had beans, sauerkraut, and kimmel. I had to add salt because it was very bland. The potatoes in tecia were another disappointment. They arrived lukewarm, with the onion burnt black, no bacon, no pepper, and no lard. The capuzi, or sauerkraut, arrived lukewarm, with the main courses at room temperature, cooked without pork, no pieces of smoked bacon. Nada de nada. The apple strudel arrived hot, very good and light, not too sweet, and was worth more than anything else.
