We kept coming back here around lunch for their fantastic sandwiches several days in a row when visiting Florence.
Didn't go inside, but getting a bite from their window shop and eating as you go is a great option if you're in a hurry.
I recommend going for a "sandwich my way" which is where you pay around half price but the chef chooses what to put in your focaccia. This is perfect if you're not a picky eater, and we got some wonderful sandwiches that way :)

For a quick bite, it's absolutely perfect.
We walked by around 2 pm, there was nobody there (it's probably busier at lunchtime) so we were served in 3 minutes, a panini "just the way you like it," and it was delicious, hot and crispy on the outside, soft and fresh on the inside. Top-notch Yop!

One of my favorite spots in Florence. Everything is delicious, especially the focaccia used for the sandwich. Friendly service, inexpensive, fabulous food.

We chose the focazza "their way" recommended on the sign, and it was a great choice. They're €6 each and very large. The guy who served us was very friendly. This place, right next to the cathedral, is definitely worth a visit.

I have absolutely no regrets and highly recommend it! It's literally 10 steps behind the Duomo.
There are very few seats, but they move quickly.
The two men who run the place are fantastic: smiling, patient, and helpful.
I opted for a Fra Angelico schiacciata, to which I added stracciatella and arugula (€11.50). A pure delight! The sandwich was generously filled, very tasty, and made to order, which guarantees excellent freshness.
If I'm ever in the area again, I think I'll try the vegetarian version.
In short, you get the picture: go for it without hesitation!
