Amigos Bar In Taormina

The restaurant is very centrally located and offers reasonable food at a fair price. The Sicilian desserts and coffee are also recommended. Also worth mentioning is the short waiting time from ordering to eating the food 👍

We sat in the front row of tables with a direct view to Corso Umberto. First class people watching! Our waiter was polite and very attentive. The owner said hello and joked around with us for a while. It gets better. The prices were the lowest we found in Taormina! We will definitely return to Amigos.

I see all the bad ratings but we had a great experience. Owner very engaging, pizzas and cocktails good and reasonably priced. If it’s near dinner hour the owner will definitely be clear that you have to order dinner, not just coffee or drinks.

Wonderful food, super atmosphere, top notch location, the staff is super cool, talkative, Sicilian style. Not for uptight people who don't understand and feel good humour :)

Everything was fine with us. Everyone's food tasted excellent and the service was also very friendly. I only read the other reviews afterwards and was very surprised. We were also asked whether we wanted to pay with card or cash and didn't receive a fake invoice. The restaurant is more beautifully decorated, but also more expensive. For us it was more than okay.

We only noticed the bad review after our visit and can't fully understand it. The food was good (pasta in various variations) and the staff was very friendly. There were no problems with paying by card; we were asked how we would like to pay. The location on the busy street is also very nice.

We loved this place! The waiters are so friendly and nice , the drinks are very good & the food is okay! We love to sit here and people watch it’s a good place☺️

The only reason I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because they were SO busy that we had to wait, wait, wait, ask, wait, for the check. And it was very crowded. Everyone wanted to watch the football (soccer) game. Best mojito ever. Beautiful location on the piazza. Staff had no control over how crowded it was. ❤️💛
