I was lucky enough to have dinner at this wonderful restaurant Amici del Rifugio Crucolo.
My partner and I had a tasting menu and the experience was exceptional.
I highly recommend the pappardelle with venison ragù and vegetables and the venison loin is also very good.
A well-kept place with impeccable service.
I highly recommend!

We went for lunch at Easter, settled in a booth in perfect mountain style, we had an appetizer platter of Crucolo refuge speck, crunchy tomino cheese with aromatic herbs stuffed with tasty Crucolo cheese and walnuts, followed by pappardelle with venison ragout and crunchy vegetables, and finally apple strudel with vanilla cream. For wine, a Trento DOC, all very good. Finally we visited the product shop and tasted a blueberry grappa.

Ristorante nelle campagne reggiane con menu tipicamente trentino: tutto ottimo, con piatti rivisitati in chiave moderna.
Possibilità di accedere alla cantina per amari a fine cena o comprare prodotti (formaggi, salumi, vini, liquori).
Servizio attento e disponibile.

Very well kept place and very kind staff.
From my point of view: cuisine of Trentino origin - also in terms of the origin of the raw materials, or at least some of which, however, is starting to distance itself, for better or for worse: gourmet dishes, very elaborate, sometimes designed, well beyond the essentiality of refuge dishes and the reference refuge.
Same thing for the prices which I consider stellar (or almost stellar).
Having made this necessary specification, my review is still positive.

Great experience! A small corner of Trentino in Reggio Emilia where typical Trentino products meet innovation and super refined plating. The service is accurate, each dish brought to the table is described, the bread is all of their own production and they serve the entree. The place is very welcoming, it looks like a small cabin, a plas la stube!

Excellent atmosphere, food and hospitality.
The explanation of the foods served by the waiter Gabriele who is very good is also excellent.
I recommend anyone to come and visit the location but above all the food that melts in your mouth is worth it.
