The neighborhood is truly awful...no offense to the locals. The place is simple, quiet, and excellent value. Both the tuna and swordfish were cooked perfectly, and I recommend them; we often find them overcooked, even in upscale restaurants. The fried fish and the maltagliati with chickpeas and clams are plentiful. Everything is classic and simple, even the side dishes, but good!

As always, Amelie is a guarantee of quality, friendliness and fair prices. In my opinion, it is the "best" in Ancona.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant! The pasta was delicious, the service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was truly welcoming. My wife wasn't feeling well, so they offered to make her some plain pasta—and they didn't even charge us for it. It's rare to find a place with such delicious food and such kind people. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

Trattoria Ponticelli

06/12/2025: We were looking for a trattoria for a quick dinner on a weekday. We had a very convivial evening thanks to the owner's warm welcome and kind manner. We ate very, very well, and a lot, at a more than fair price. We really enjoyed our stay.
26/11/2025: It's a simple, traditional restaurant, and the value for money is excellent. The chef and owner comes directly to your table to recommend the day's special.

18/11/2025: The place is beautiful, and even eating there by the sea was wonderful. It's a shame that they only give you paid parking if you rent an umbrella and lounger: a kind of blackmail, because you can't park anywhere else.
