After a late arrival in Rome and a bit of exploring, we were looking for a nearby spot to grab a comforting meal—and Ristorante Amedeo came recommended by our hotel. Conveniently located and welcoming, it turned out to be a pleasant start to our culinary adventures in the city. Appetizer Delight We began with the Crostini with stracciatella, Cetara anchovy sauce and caramelized red onion —crostini topped with creamy stracciatella, Cetara anchovy sauce, and caramelized red onions. This appetizer was absolutely delicious, offering a perfect blend of sweet, salty, and savory flavors that set a great tone for the evening. Pasta Courses For our mains, my husband ordered the Amatriciana with Gragnano PGI Half Rigatoni, which was rich, well-seasoned, and full of depth—definitely a standout dish. I chose the Carbonara with Gragnano IGP spaghetti, “Galline Felici” eggs and zero km bacon. After trying my husbands dish I found his to be more to my liking as it had more flavor. Final Thoughts Despite my dish falling slightly short, we still had a great meal overall. The service was kind, the ambiance was relaxed, and the wine selection complemented our meal wonderfully. Ristorante Amedeo proved to be a convenient and satisfying option for our first evening in Rome.

We had a great dinner at this small and quaint restaurant. A step above most touristy restaurants in the area. The service was good.

Fantastic food, service, and ambience. We sat outside and ordered the lamb and the salmon. Both were absolutely delicious. Prices for a reasonable for the quality we receive. The service was also really good. Highly recommend this restaurant for a nice dinner in Rome.

I went to eat lamb and artichoke in the evening. The price was reasonable and the server (Tristan) was friendly, so I left feeling good. He was very pleasant. The lamb had no gamey smell at all and the sauce was sweet, so it was a taste that everyone would like, and it wasn't tough at all and was cooked just right. The amount was just right. The artichoke went well with the soft cream sauce. I ate on the terrace, and in the middle of the meal, people selling things came and talked to me, but they didn't seem to be trying to force me to buy anything, so I coolly declined and left. If you're in Rome and craving pasta and pizza, I recommend this place.

Très bien. Le service est rapide et impeccable. Nous avons bien mangé , surtout pour un restaurant aussi bien placé près de la gare. Le cheese cake est très bon. Nous avons pris les cacio e peppe qui sont vraiment bonnes. Je recommande pour un repas rapide et très bon près de la gare. Cela permet d’éviter les attrapes touristes.
