An absolute gem of a sandwich shop. We went twice and the sandwiches were delicious. The two ladies running the shop couldn’t have been nicer. A must if you’re in Sorrento.

The 8. Michel was the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Well worth the wait! The owners are so fun and deserve all the praise/attention. We need at lunch time so wait was longer than other times, but again—so freakin worth it.

Came here thanks to my daughter and TikTok 🤦🏼‍♂️. 45 minute wait in line to order then another 35 minutes to get it. But Food was excellent and worth the wait. The staff is friendly and fun singing along with the great playlist - keeps it lively met lots of nice people in line. Note: VERY limited seating! One small hack- download their app (extra 2€ per sandwich) and order ahead of time - pick it up at your convenience, however, you cannot order the classic hot sandwiches on the app …..that should probably be fixed but otherwise excellent.

Absolutely delicious! Hands down one of the best sandwiches I’ve had anywhere . The ingredients were super fresh, the bread was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the flavors were incredible. You can tell they care about quality and take pride in what they serve. The lady in front was friendly, helpful, and made great impression . If you’re in Sorrento, don’t miss this spot—it’s a gem!

Perfect sandwich. Wish I had time to go back for another. Crisp bread and tasty fillings. My partner and I both had ones with burrata which can be quite messy but it’s worth it! Apparently there’s an app to order and collect but we were only here for a few days

My wife and I always do our research on best places to eat prior to visiting a place. We stayed in sorrento and visited Capri, amalfi and positano and we had " street food" in all places.. this was by far the best snack we ever had during the day on our Italian trip. You are spoilt for choice with options! I wanted to choose them all but it’s so filling and the tastes and combination of ingredients are just so enjoyable. Best "sandwich" if you want to call it that I’ve ever had in my life. Considering the prices on the amalfi cost you can have a delicious filling and outstanding lunch for a reasonable good price! A must visit when you have been walking around all day grab a bite here and wash it down with a cold peroni or lemon soda.

Après 3 jours de pâtes et de pizza, une pause fraîcheur qui fait du bien ! De plus, personnel accueillant souriant et qui parle très bien le Français. Je recommande !

12/08/2025: The chef is a charming guy, and his dishes perfectly convey a carefully crafted culinary journey. The dining room was served admirably by a mother and daughter, who deserve compliments for their hospitality. Recommended.
12/07/2025: A place where hospitality, kindness and professionalism make you feel truly good while you live a food and wine experience of the highest quality. We chose the tasting menu "The journey", a journey through smells, colors, aromas, flavors of worlds near and far, of history and culture, of harmony and beauty. And when you get to the end, you already know that you will return because that "journey" cannot be forgotten. Chef Paolo Gramaglia, his wonderful wife and all the staff are an authentic excellence of the territory.

Ristorante Pietratorcia

04/08/2025: Dinner at Cantina Pietratorcia was one of the most authentic and memorable experiences of our stay in Ischia. We're not talking about a simple tasting, but a true dinner, immersed in a charming and atmospheric setting. The location is spectacular: a garden among the vineyards, quiet and well-kept, with vine pergolas, soft lighting, and a warm welcome that immediately puts you at ease. The perfect place for a relaxing evening, away from the chaos and immersed in the beauty of Ischia's natural landscape. The cuisine? Extraordinary. The dish of the day—paccheri with lobster—was simply delicious: perfectly al dente pasta, a rich yet balanced sauce, and fresh and flavorful lobster. A generous, fragrant dish, expertly prepared. But the true star of the evening was the Ischian-style rabbit: a masterpiece of local tradition, cooked to perfection, flavorful, aromatic, and incredibly tender. A historic recipe prepared with respect and passion, it captures the island's soul. The house wine, Pietratorcia of course, perfectly complemented the dinner, but the highlight remains the quality of the cuisine, which truly takes center stage here. The staff was extremely kind and competent, with attentive but never intrusive service. The family-friendly and refined atmosphere made the evening even more enjoyable. In conclusion, an exceptional dinner in every way. For those seeking the authentic flavor of the island, in a welcoming and refined setting, Cantina Pietratorcia is a must-see. We'll definitely be back!
