Amarcord Piadineria Artigianale In Brescia

I've rarely been so amazed by a piadina, but at Amarcord, that was my reaction. Top-quality ingredients, expertly paired (we chose from the menu) and served with kindness, a perfect combination that makes even eating a "simple piadina" a delightful and memorable experience. It's definitely become my go-to piadina shop in the city.

I happened to be in Brescia and, having little time, had dinner at Amarcord. I was pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the ingredients used to fill the piadinas. It was definitely the best piadina I've tasted in Lombardy.

The Piadine Bella Storia is great, it is full of taste and evenly spreaded. The service wasn't as great, but not bad either, and the order was processed in 5min! Atmosphere is good!

I entered this piadina shop because I was drawn to it by the reviews... You know they know what they're talking about because there's a wall of testimonials... indeed, the quality is top notch, both the piada and the ingredients... I say it, yes, I say it, the best piada I've ever eaten! The real topping, the most mystical one, is the front man, a man from another era... he calls you by name in a voice that's a little unsettling (only because we're not used to it anymore). I haven't been back to this piadineria in a while, but back when I often visited Brescia in the evenings, it was a regular stop. It was nice to return and find the same quality as always: the piadina is truly delicious, well-filled, and made with quality ingredients. This time I had a piadina with bresaola, arugula, and parmesan. My only small complaint is the placement of the parmesan: it was all concentrated in the center, so by the time you're halfway through the piadina, you can almost taste only the cheese. It would be better to distribute it more evenly across the entire surface for a more balanced result. Aside from this detail, I can confirm what I remembered: friendliness, friendliness, and cleanliness are the hallmarks. The owner is extremely kind, and the atmosphere remains pleasant and welcoming. This piadineria is always worth a visit.
