I've been here quite a few times, but this time the experience was very bad.
Even though there were seats available by the window, the waiter insisted we had a reservation and wouldn't let us sit there. Those seats remained empty until we finished eating and the restaurant closed. The food wasn't as good as before, and the plates were cold. I wouldn't recommend it.

Good food, quality appetizers, very delicate saffron risotto, very tasty tortiglioni with ragù and mushrooms, and very well-cooked and tender pork fillet with a vino santo reduction. Worth trying again.

Excellent dinner at Amalia Laghi Restaurant in Pontedera. The truffle-flavored fillet steak was perfectly cooked, with a refined balance of flavors and quality ingredients. Attentive and courteous service, a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. A gastronomic experience I highly recommend.

Yesterday we celebrated our son's graduation at Amalia Laghi. The food was excellent, the timing was perfect, and the service impeccable.

In Pontedera, but it feels like you're at the seaside... The aperitivo, or rather aperitivo-dinner, is interesting and the food is good. If you don't book, there's no table service. Every now and then, a break from the usual routine is in order!
