A restaurant in the center of Rome, directly overlooking the Circus Maximus. A quaint, family-friendly atmosphere. Excellent seafood and mountain cuisine. Friendly and welcoming owners. Fair prices. Everything was excellent. Thank you, Alvaro at the Circus Maximus!

Everything was delicious. We ordered a seafood risotto, and despite its appearance, it was delicious. Then we had spaghetti carborana. The sauce lacked a bit of flavor, but it was very good. The tiramisu was delicious. The waiter was very helpful, and the service was very fast.

Servicio encantador y acogedor hasta que un camarero joven, posiblemente relacionado con el propietario por lo que parece, se involucró en nuestro servicio y el de mesa al lado de la nuestra. Tosió dramáticamente en su mano mientras tomaba el orden de la siguiente mesa. En un tono extrañamente sarcástico, nos preguntó una vez terminada nuestra comida si queríamos café (no lo hicimos). Pedí la cuenta. Pagué usando mi tarjeta y aunque, resultó más tarde, de hecho funcionó, dijo groseramente "no funciona". Probé otra tarjeta, pero antes de hacerlo le pregunté si estaba bien, ya que parecía muy estresado o muy fu

Came in for quick salad and use of the bathroom. Took 1 look at the menu and decided to eat. You will not be disappointed!!!

It's delicious~ Friendly~ The special dessert was good~ The meat is a bit salty, but it's rich in flavor. There was also tomato and oil in the aperitif bread. A glass of wine was 7 euros.

We stumbled into Alvaro Al Circo Massimo on our last night in Rome… turned into a night we will never forget. This restaurant is 3 generations of family. The atmosphere is authentic Italian and feels like you’re in someone’s cozy kitchen!! The food was delicious, the service was exceptional and the family that owns the restaurant was warm and inviting and made us feel right at home! We just had the best time. Thank you Angelo and Gianmarco! (Favorite dishes were the caprese salad, ravioli special, spaghetti with clams and spaghetti with lobster sauce.) You must end the night with the limoncello dessert - amazing!
