Ottimo Ristorante Romano che frequento da ... 50 anni, l'ultima volta abbiamo gustato dei scampi e gamberoni freschissimi e buonissimi. Alcune recensioni hanno trovato il conto un po' alto ma personalmente penso che siano dei prezzi giusti per mangiare bene. Anche il prezzo del vino non é esagerato, ci sono tante buone bottiglie a 20 Euro Lo consiglio vivamente

I had the pleasure of dining at "Alvaro al Circo Massimo" in Rome and the experience was simply extraordinary. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The service was impeccable, with an attention to detail rarely found elsewhere. The food? An authentic marvel. Each dish was a riot of flavors and you could feel the exceptional quality of the ingredients used. From homemade pasta to traditional desserts, every bite was a delight for the palate. And the prices? Surprisingly content, especially considering the quality and service offered. It's rare to find a restaurant that offers such a complete experience at such a reasonable cost. Without a doubt, I will return. This restaurant is a jewel in the heart of Rome, a place where Italian culinary tradition is celebrated with passion and mastery. Highly recommended!

My boyfriend and I were welcomed into the restaurant as one would welcome welcome guests into one's home, with attention and friendliness. A true Roman experience from food to location. Family-run restaurant, with homemade cuisine freshly prepared by grandmother Mimma who is simply a force of nature! We had such a good time that, despite the strong heat these days, we returned for every lunch! Highly recommended for those looking for true Roman cuisine and above all quality!

Ormai da qualche anno, dopo aver partecipato alla maratona Race for the cure di Roma al Circo Massimo, ci fermiamo a pranzo da Alvaro. Ogni volta non ha mai deluso, Oltre all'indiscussa bontà dei piatti degustati e la simpatia del proprietario e dei collaboratori, voglio evidenziare anche l'onestà professionale che che si evidenzia dalle "piccole" cose: giusto ed onesto ricarico sui vini, finalmente una certa qualità dei liquori a fine pasto (cosa molto rara) ed un buonissimo vino della casa, Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Molto consigliato.
