Came in for quick salad and use of the bathroom. Took 1 look at the menu and decided to eat. You will not be disappointed!!!

It's delicious~ Friendly~ The special dessert was good~ The meat is a bit salty, but it's rich in flavor. There was also tomato and oil in the aperitif bread. A glass of wine was 7 euros.

We stumbled into Alvaro Al Circo Massimo on our last night in Rome… turned into a night we will never forget. This restaurant is 3 generations of family. The atmosphere is authentic Italian and feels like you’re in someone’s cozy kitchen!! The food was delicious, the service was exceptional and the family that owns the restaurant was warm and inviting and made us feel right at home! We just had the best time. Thank you Angelo and Gianmarco! (Favorite dishes were the caprese salad, ravioli special, spaghetti with clams and spaghetti with lobster sauce.) You must end the night with the limoncello dessert - amazing!

Authentic Roman restaurant with mostly local clientele. Nonna was cooking and keeping a watchful eye on our waiter. The food was perfect and the experience was fantastic. I don’t want the word to get out on this quiet place, but I also don’t want people to miss out on this authentic Italian experience.

Descubrimos este lugar en nuestra última noche de una escapada de 5 noches en el cercano Kobe Hotel y lo encantadora comida que tuvimos para terminar nuestras pequeñas vacaciones. Si estás buscando un auténtico sabor de Italia con un toque familiar genuino, este restaurante tradicional romano con su encanto rústico es una joya absoluta! El ambiente cálido te hace sentir como en casa, con cada rincón del restaurante reflejando la pasión y la historia de tres generaciones de dedicados chefs familiares. Situado junto al Circo Máximo y no lejos del Collesuem, merece la pena visitarlo, especialmente si te gustan los mariscos.

09/02/2025: Mi presento con due zii passati da Roma da Ulisse di domenica alle 13:30, senza troppe speranze. Premetto che era la mia prima volta lì e non avevo idea di che tipo di locale fosse, speravo solo non fosse troppo turistico. Dopo neanche 10 minuti di attesa ci fanno sedere alla sala sotterranea, un ambiente con luci soffuse e atmosfera rilassante. Il servizio è stato impeccabile e garbatissimo, il cibo ottimo e il conto più che onesto. I miei zii sono stati felicissimi e mi chiedono sempre quando ci torniamo. Consiglio il fiore di zucca, davvero squisito.
