The hotel by itself is amazing. Very modern and nice architecture inside an old historic building. spacious rooms, wonderful breakfast, pet friendly but the shiniest point for me is the girl working there who transfers a huge warm welcome and she is so available. For sure she indeed is an added value

If you are looking for a hotel in the Barge area STOP now and book the Alter Hotel!! We had an unexpectedly wonderful 3 night stay there. The staff (especially Carlotta and Julia) were amazingly helpful and friendly. The hotel is beautifully designed with very comfortable and interesting rooms (we tried two!) It is quiet and well situated for visiting the local scenery and wonderful small towns. There is also a small car museum (sadly closed to visitors) within the hotel. We will be returning!

Very well renovated structure, large and very clean rooms, very friendly and kind staff, good and plentiful breakfast. We stopped for one night on our way to Turin and discovered that Barge is a characteristic village that is worth a visit.

Welcoming and clean, comfortable and familiar... this morning at breakfast we were welcomed by two beautiful and talented girls Carlotta and Martina who personally prepared me an amazing and creamy cappuccino!!!! They deserve all the stars I left as much as the human relationship is worth!!!!!! Thank you again for welcoming us and welcoming us so excited!!!

Great experience for us , the staff were kind and helpful. A beautiful hotel that is quiet and well situated if you want to visit the mountains . We will be staying here again !
