I clearly understood that I'm not suited to self-service. .I ordered a salad that cost 9 euros and had to pay 1 euro and 50 for the cover charge like in a restaurant, without being served and without having taken a plate, but eating from the bowl. Absurd

Located inside the shopping center: quick lunch, generous portions, very good food, and reasonable prices. I stop here when traveling because it's close to the highway toll booth. Excellent place to stop.

21/09/2025: We've stop for a nice refreshing pause during the market day. It has a great view to the main plaza. Food was really good. Service depends on which you have, one of the girls really helpful and with a great smile explained all and gave suggestions. The other one just points where to seat.
15/09/2025: We found ourselves in the historic center of Macerata during a sudden thunderstorm and decided to stop for lunch at the splendid Caffè Centrale, located under the loggia of the Town Hall. A welcoming place, with friendly and prompt service, we were treated to excellent dishes.
