Alta Marea In Montepaone

At the recommendation of Peppe, an employee at Hotel Villa Susy in Davoli Marina, we went there for lunch yesterday. We found both the food and the service to be satisfactory. The diced potatoes and octopus were very popular, as were the spaghetti with seaweed and paccheri with cherry tomatoes and shrimp. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely return for dinner and try other dishes.

We had dinner there after the renovations and we have to say it was truly beautiful and elegant, and it was the first time my family and I had there. They are masters at catching and selling local fish, and we can honestly say that you could taste the difference from other places. Excellent, attentive, and elegant service, with great attention to detail. Highly recommended. Compliments to the owners.

I was invited to lunch at this restaurant and I must say it was a pleasant surprise! Alta Marea is a simple yet well-kept place, perfect for those who want to enjoy excellent seafood in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is kind, helpful, and very attentive. One detail worth mentioning: they also speak German, which makes things easier for those who don’t speak Italian. I chose the “trenette con calamari al pesto— a truly delicious dish: well-cooked, with fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. The menu offers a variety of seafood options, all interesting and fairly priced. Recommended for anyone looking for genuine seafood cuisine, without unnecessary frills but full of substance. I’ll gladly come back!

Trovare un ristorante di pesce a regola d'arte, nel circondario di Catanzaro, è complicato, so che sembra strano visto che siamo proprio affacciati sul mare, ma è davvero così. Qui da "Alta Marea", invece, si mangia un pesce a dir poco meraviglioso, freschissimo e saporito, trattato incredibilmente bene da chi cucina. Tutti i piatti da noi ordinati ci hanno soddisfatti, senza alcuna eccezione, le trenette al pesto con calamari sono una vera goduria e le porzioni sono abbondanti, specie la frittura e l'insalata di mare, addirittura abbondantissime. Non a buon mercato, ma preferisco spendere qualcosa di più e mangiare pesce come si deve. Torneremo senza alcun dubbio, da come ci hanno detto il menù cambia spesso, in base alla disponibilità e stagionalità del pescato, cosa più che corretta, garanzia di materie prime sempre fresche.

Ottima esperienza, con pesce fresco e servizio impeccabile. Da provare h fu lu antipasti di mare. Buona la lista dei vini
